Once a year is all we ask.

Actually, once a day is probably better ratio for visiting the homepage. You never know what you might find.

I actually try to visit the homepage (what's that?) at least a couple times a week. I often find some goodies I didn't know was there, like the recent interview with WP. Would recommend!

Sweet shootout, well written and killer pics of course. Any plans for using B or C riders in the future?

Great read! Judging by the laptimes some riders are fluffing their on their listed skill level. No shame in listing novice.

Maybe your throwing out some sarcasm? :-)

But being out there shooting those guys I'll let you know none of them are novice! Sometimes everyone isn't 100% healthy ya know. Those dudes are animals, 8 30min motos is no joke!

No Sarcasm. I did think it was one of the most in depth best shootouts ive read. Judging by the laptimes thats what it looked like. I could be wrong

The KTM is the worst bike by far. Please for the love of all things motocross everyone needs to stop buying them. Please and thank you. God damn things have become harder to find than 18yr old virgins in CA.

I win the slow award, but I'll play my card of riding injured with feet that were literally bleeding all day...

Mike,

You made a comment regarding the engine braking on the KX. Which bike had the least? I dislike engine braking. In my experience, the CRF's have the least of all the manufacturers. How was the KTM's engine braking? Could you possibly rate them?

Thanks in advance.

My 14 and my brothers 15 CRF450 has a small amount of engine braking.. Way less than any other 450's I've ridden.. To me the Honda's engine braking is near perfect.. not too much, but enough to help slow the bike a little for turns without the jerky on/off engine brakeing feel that teeter totters the bike back and forth. Coming off of 2strokes I've really come to appreciate Hondas engine braking. Like I said... too me... just the rite amount.

8 x 30 min motos? More than one of those results had the same Fastest Lap as their Lap 99. I'd be surprised if they all of a sudden just did their best time in every section of the track all on the one same lap if they did 13-15 laps in one session.

We pull on and off for changes, but a few guys put all their best sections in one lap.

I don't know where they got the more engine braking part from? My 16 kx has less than my '12 crf had. I read that and thought wtf? because I noticed that aspect of the bike right away. Maybe they don't use the clutch much, who knows.
