I have a few questions about it:

Why was Alessi running an all white bike? I thought they were running red now.

If Bubba is back, hair and all, will he do the sprinkler after an SX win?

Also, how the hell did Vince not die haha

Dungey isn't a GoPro athlete, so no go on his view from his runs.

I like the event. Its fun and is a good off season event. No offense to the privateers though, but the event needs some faster people. except for Partridge. #tallguysrulewhoops

I liked it! The highlight for me was JS7 vs Dungey.

I was also wondering about Alessi and Friese. It seems those two were having trouble in the whoops section, with Vince launching into orbit and Alessi getting out of control at the end of the whoops once or twice too. Wonder if it was a bike setup issue or a just coincidence...

Coincidentally, they both ride with less talent in the whoops than some of the others.

RJ had a vicious crash ...I watched it from the grandstands...glad he is "OK"....I really thought it might be much worse...

Good show...enjoyed it...in and out in less than 4 hours...good crowd...seamed like it was mostly moto related people...took 4 people with parking for $90

Didn't bother walking around to the infield area , but the kids did...way to hot for me... the shaded grandstand was great and there was a small breeze.

RJ's crash and KR pulling up in the final were the 2 bummers....

Red Bull is (obviously) some pretty smart folks...this event , on that date, with the qualifiers leading up to it and the "amateur" days keeps the focus on them for weeks and away from Monster ...I expect it to continue each and every weekend before Monster Cup

Also was surprised (in this day and age) that there was no security check coming in...people were bringing bags and backpacks, walking right through...I saw one guy with a backpack the size of a small suitcase...

Did you use a talent meter to check that?

Pomona Fairplex has an NHRA drag racing track, last year's Straight Rhythm ran right alongside it.

It is a little premature but since you've scratched the surface at the MEC a new multi function sound/BS/talent meter will be introduced. There will be both a standalone system based solution with printer that the AMA and FIM will use while the rest of us can purchase it for our IOS devices. I went to an Iphone just for this application. Smile

The whole event was sweet, JS7 vs RD5 races were the standout for me. I got a new perspective on dungey, I never really realised how amazing his jumping style and technique is.
Also I dont like energy drinks but i love that Red Bull gives back to the sports that they are involved with (yes it is for their gain), every one of their events is free and easy to watch no matter what country you are in (maybe not Nth Korea). This might not be apparent for those who are only interested in MX, but for those who follow MTB world cups (downhill etc) it has changed the accessibility and quality of viewing these events massively. Red Bull rampage is this weekend and I can't wait to see the crazy shit go down Woohoo .

When will we see an Android version of this app? Does it come with different language options?

It is all part of Steve Job's evil plan so don't see an Android application.

I asked the app if there was other languages supported the BS meter functionality kicked in and said it was BS to even ask about any other language support. :-)

I thought all the experts on vitalmx had a built in talent meter?

I wasn't that impressed with the event, watched it still but thought it was a bit boring - not sure if that was because of the lack of talent? or just that the format is less entertaining than supercross, and even more so motocross

- maybe it was because there was only 3 top riders competing? (bubba/ Kenny/ dungey) - might have been closer if we had canard, pourcel, tomac, musquin, reed etc etc out there too!

think this sort of event appeals more to people that maybe couldn't sit through an entire night of supercross, or full day of motocross. So in that, its a good thing (attract more outsiders to the sport) - same goes for 'monster cup' I think...

I thought it was kind of boring...I'd rather see 'corning' and racing. But it seems like it's a lot easier for the mainstream folks to follow this...
