The Arma team (owned by Jimmy Sloan) and Jimmy Albertson have parted ways. The Arma team has another title sponsor (RG9?) and have hired Michael Leib and Matt Goerke (I think one other rider as well) for 2016.

Interesting news, any word on what Jimmy will be doing?

He doesn't race anymore, currently training riders. Unless he's been back on the bike recently.

I listen to some podcast where jimmy Sloan said he has been training and looking out for the best interest of his son? I took away that he is going to be racing? Maybe not?

strange they got rid of Jimmy cant see why he wouldnt have added to the team . I cant find anything online confirming riders. Seen Jimmy posting Merge racing on all his instagram pics so I am guessing hes going it alone now with support from merge?

That's two teams now that Jimmy has started and the very next year is not apart of it. He was on Pulp saying he hired Georke, seems like he didn't have as much of the pie as he thought or made it seem.

Sponsors on the 2-stroke pic may be what makes up his '16 program.

Hoping Jimmy gets everything figured out, he's one of my families favorite underdogs to root for!

This industry regularly gets players that don't or can't live up to their commitments.
Good thing there is plenty of solid companies in the industry though.

Jimmy, Myself, and Jim Lewis (merge racing) have a vision of having a top level race team. Over the last 3 years we collectively feel we are making steps in the right direction. Hoping to be able to share some good news soon!

Hope things get figured out for Jimmy. How can you not like the guy? Fast and such a character. Hate to see how he's helped start two teams and get dropped from both right after. I guess that business for you though.

I have a coworker that was recently up at the KCMoto track here in Missouri with his son at Jimmy Albertson's MX school. He said Jimmy & Georgia were some of the coolest, most down-to-earth people he'd ever met in the sport, and that Jimmy was so good with the kids and non-kids alike.

We need to support guys like this who give back to the sport. I hope Jimmy gets things together for a ride in 2016.

The same team infrastructure is together. Going on 3 years now with "in house" development. Nobody was "dropped" just a parting of ways

When I see AE racing I instinctively think of ARMA Energy. Funny they chose to go that route. Maybe it's coincidence.

Unfortunately it's not just this industry. It's any sport/activity where sponsors are involved. Whether it's writing checks that their accounts can't cash, or Just trying to be in the lime light for 10 minutes....

How much longer has Jimmy held on than you?

Maybe needs to go off road. Seems the money is expanding there where MX it's drying up. More brands to get help from and fans that aren't as fickle. GNCC and EnduroX would probably see a better payday for him too.

I think I Jimmy ran all the Instagram pr for arma which was a_e_racing that's now changed to albertson enterprises makes sense to me why change it all.

Good stuff I look forward to the pr release glad to hear top Jimmy will still be out there especially now he seems like he's got the injuries taken care of. Is Georke staying on with Jimmy as well?
