Hahn has the Trey Canard effect on teams. He's the nice guy that has bad luck. Has Trey deserved to keep his spot at honda since 2011? Depends on who you ask but it's nice for a team to have a rider that's capable of getting that rock hard ride hard award.
I'm not sure if you can compare Hahn and Canard. I am a big fan of both riders, but Canard can be one of the top guys any weekend. As for injuries go, they are similar. I don't know if Hahn is a top 5 guy like Canard even without injury.

FYI... i have zero knowledge of bogles situation, only throwing this out there as an example.

Jesus christ anyone who risks life and limb to ride at the pro level through 29 races for only 60K a year needs to go to college or get a job in construction, because that little money is just not worth it.

Thats only a little over 2K a race.

I think the managers at McDonalds make more than that per year.
Ill tell you what, if I were given the choice between working construction and making 60k or being a professional dirtbike rider/racer for 60k I would choose being a racer 100 times over

For 2017, sure, I'd say that's a possibly. But for Kenny to leave and go somewhere else in 2016 he'd have to pony up $2 million for a buyout clause in the contract, which more than likely ain't going to happen...at least that's been the rumor about k-roc leaving. Otherwise, he's got next year to make it he marriage work with RCH. Martin is going to be a hot ticket...I wouldn't be surprised if he's already unofficially started talking to teams.
I like all this Martin talk and him being the hot ticket but you guys are forgetting one seriously important fact Martin has had terrible Supercross seasons so far and his upside in that area which most teams favor when signing a rider 75% to 25% percent over an outdoor title is a big deal so I wouldn't think he would become a top tier title rider for RCH or a lot of other teams for that matter and RCH seems mainly focused on Supercross anyway to me it's far fetched

I totally agree with you...what value is a team going to place on his SX skills when writing and proposing a contract, when SX is the area many teams focus on for exposure and ROI? If the guy doesn't qualify on a 450, for whatever reason, teams aren't exactly going to be super pumped on that, and I would imagine most teams interested in him would like to see big improvement in 250 SX this year. Not that he would do this, but he could ride the 250 for a few more years if he wanted to, couldn't he? I'm not sure where he is points wise for pointing out if the 250 SX class...

Probably getting close. Either way he's a favourite to win on either coast this year.

I'm not sure on Sanayei... The whole team green A group this year is in a tough pickle. Not enough openings and none of them really stood out. Honestly, I'm thinking Sanayei should have taken the deal with Dixon's team in the GPs... if it's still available, I would really consider that option.
Spoke with Darian for awhile up at Walton, He's riding the Glen Helen GP for Dixon and is definately leaning towards signing with them for 16, trying to figure out a way to do some SX races and AMA stuff to stay relevent.

I agree it's been a bit of a mess the past few years. But he has won in supercross and has been very fast. He clearly isn't consistent yet, but I think he could find his groove very quickly. He still has time to figure it out.

Similar to that concern, however, is his inconsistency in starts both indoors and out. He's got to figure that shit out. But the upside is so big that many might gamble. Dude is insane fast at times: reminds me of Tomac. Crazy fast, sometimes inconsistent, shitty starts.

This is all hypothetical talking here, not sure if your familiar with the concept. He has talked about moving up to the 450's next year...hell it could be 2017, this is all just bullshiting about riders..nothing more.

sorry it was bother me man. you said " if roczen leaves its a could possibility he could go to RCH"

I didn't mean to offend you. If you want to live in fantasy land where contracts don't exist then do you!

I can't make it thru the first page, but gotta say Bogle has some serious 450SX potential. He's proved he can ride the big bike fast.

I can see him winning heats and
Leading laps, no doubt. Same with Marvin.

Must have been a Matthes podcast but pretty sure that was the rumor: agent was asking for stupid money from Kawasaki and missed. Kawi probably felt the difference between Hahn and Bogle wasn't the difference in asking price. Or, maybe they have a heart and wanted to give Hahn a real shot.

Bogle might have to entertain MCR to have a bike and mechanic since there aren't many good seats open. Doing well and getting along with that crew would go a long way towards negotiations for next year. Hopefully he'll have a new agent.
You guys crack me up. To say that Bogle deserves better than MCR is just ignorance. Mike didn't just win one Moto three years ago on the MCR bike but he finished 6th in SX and 2nd in MX. He led over a 100 laps, 9 podiums and was the only threat to Dungey the whole summer. His bike was flawless in performance and it took Ryan not making any mistakes the whole series to capture the title. Nothing against the Dung cuz he's one of the best the sport has ever seen, but the lack of respect shown to Mike and the whole MCR team and effort is pure lack of knowing the real in and outs of pro Moto.

I also might add that MCR has been successfully competing in both the 250 and 450 class since 2009 and has got more podiums in both classes than any other non supported team in the paddock, while at the same time providing many riders, mechanics and mangers an above average income, while many other teams have closed their doors.

If there were more rock solid teams like MCR in the pits riders like Bogle would have life even that much better.

And no, I'm not Tony.

Lets make comparisons and look at potential based on other guys who came out of the 250 class in recent years.

-In my opinion Bogle has MORE POTENTIAL then,...Tickle, Weimer and Hahn when they came out of the 250sx with regional titles.

-In my opinion he has EQUAL the potential that Seely and Anderson had when they moved up this year

-LESS potential then Tomac and Musquin.

So Bogle may not be a tier 1 rider but I think hes in tier 1BSideways

In SX bogle should be pretty good, although it's going to be damn hard to stand out in 2016 indoors, we have got some pretty sick riders in the big class next season.

Tough class

I believe Weimer plans on staying with Team Tedder next year, Wharton hasn't ruled out a come back at some point but it's pretty safe to say it won't be '16, and Brayton still has a year left with BTO.
Yes I do believe he said that on the radio last month? Fair deal really, he needs to get things on track again before looking at major teams, I warmed to him a lot after that pulp show.

My bad for some reason thought his first title was 08, but it was 09 then a second in 2010, so by the time he races the 450 class in SX it will be 6 years not 8 sinces his title, so an even better reason to watch him in SX.

Just hope he has a clean autumn and winter leading up to SX

We know he won't try to kill himself to win, it's not his style, but be there he will, even in the tough crowd of 16
