Came back this morning and see it's 20 and just checked this one.
Don't think I will spend time catching up to 20. Dizzy

The is what i know

1. for the record incase you might think something got lost in translation, the translation here is pretty spot on. Im American but been living n Germany for the last 14 years. And I've read the article in Deutsch and yea his translation is pretty spot on.

2. RC4 was a great racer in his day, and thats then end of the list of things that he's good at. if he want to own a team, write the check and shut the fuck up, Hire a team Manager and let him manage but RC's ego will never let that happen, because he's the GOAT docent make him the best at everything

3. Cary Hart, his heart is in the right place but I think RC is a bad influence on him, dude is brilliant at getting sponsorship. That needs to be his sole purpose in this team

4. there comes a point when your racing you have to let go of family, its sad cause you wouldn't be where you are without Mom and Dad driving you all over the country on there weekends. going to work exhausted monday morning after driving 12 hours in crap weather to get home in time for work & school mondays My dad did its many times id feel bad watching him slam coffee and leave directly after getting home to goto work. My dad loved helping but he want good at a lot of things so i did it, though my late 80 cc and 125 career i did all my own bike work. he hooked me up with a support ride. but finally it got the point i was like dad you can come but just hang out and enjoy yourself he let me do that he let go. and i was thankful because if i through one more chain after a hole shot i prolly would have killed him.. RV2 had the same problem and had to tell his family basically go home im at work. Kroc's dad is the same and he's german my girlfriends father was the same way.no matter what he knew best, its Deutsch thing i think.

so you have a team that obviously has no clear direction, a great rider they won't listen to or are handcuffed on what they can do because of who knows why. Kenny would have been only slightly better maybe at KTM cause Dungey is was and always will be the apple of De Costers eye. the only advantage kenny had over Ryan was Aldon Baker. . Dungy knew that was the key and Aldon put the fight in dungy he never had and was missing. theres one more race, maybe RCH just shows up its arms and lets Kenny have what he wants, i mean they have nothing to lose and 2nd place in the championship to gain.

The Future... i don't know, somethings gotta give, RCH know what they have but they need to pull there head out of there collective asses and take some help from outside, eat some humble pie and let the professionals do there job. If they don't and stand on the slippery slope there on now all there gonna have is a bike with a lot of different stickers on it and a frustrated rider.

as young as Kenny is , he's been nothing but a class act this season, on and off the track despite it all and still can get second place in the Championship . im sure Yoshimura Suzuki has there check book in hand just waiting for the opportunity . as well as al the other factory teams. scary but true Kenny is just gonna get bettering he will win multiple championships on the right team. do you hear me RCH? give him what he wants, look at McGrath he won how many championships for Honda with that 93 frame? If kenny can go faster on a 72 Hodka, zip tie that god awful what ever yellow your running on it and smile for the cameras on the podium when he collects the number one plate and stfu!!!!
Good post.
I hope everybody involved get over their egos and Roczen can show it on the track.

I think Ryan was a better rider this year and no one can take anything away from him or say that the title results (SX/MX) would've been different - because no one knows. However I think we definitely can say with absolute confidence that we haven't seen Ken Roczen anywhere near his best on more than a handful of occasions this year either. When you cast your mind back to Hangtown and how he looked there (we all know how excruciating back pain can be - not to mention these other problems coming to light); he's done well to last this long and still have a shot at 2nd place in the series.

We have seen Eli Tomac at his best and KROC and RD were getting crushed by 2-5 seconds A LAP! Ryan was the fastest he has ever been, and Kenny wasen't, but either way they got their collective asses handed to them by ET. Who, in their right mind, could argue that either at their best is as fast as Eli this year?
Yeah well they won't have to worry about him next year... Can't believe these guys wait till thy finally get things figured out than change everything and that goes for the factories as well du get will win again both titles probably he's the only one with no changes and no isssues

Tomac may also struggle on the Kawi, the new bike will be good for sure but based on the results of the factory teams in the US and in the GPs (Hahn, Millsaps, Rattray, Weimer, Frossard), well except for Villopoto, for me it is a question mark. It may turn out very well, but I am a bit doubtfull he will be swinging like at the end on the crf.

Nice work, gentleman! 20 pages...

Regarding records (two stroke one aside), I don't remember the final damage on Lasergate but it must have been worse. This can't compete but it was still a nice run.

I just want to know if Kenny is having fun yet? He made no bones about not having any fun will training under Aldon, and that he feared being burnt out early etc. But he really doesn't look like he is having fun right now, and his program seems to be anything but structured. Dungey just tunes everything else out, listens to Aldon, DeCoster, and anyone else in his camp that he trusts, and does his work. Keep it simple, man. Don't stray from the work that got you there. I really believe Dungey will be around for awhile. He will be impervious to burn out until he is truly ready to retire. So someone has to go out and beat him and out podium the guy more consistently. Good luck with that for the next few years. He is a podium machine. That should be his new nickname-podium. The podium. Ryan "the podium machine" Dungey.
I would like to add that I did want in on this thread. Too juicy to pass up!
kens already proved that he can beat ryan consistently- he won the title last year remember...

he's had a bad year this year, injury problems, problems with the team etc. Hopefully he can sort the issues out and get back to the ken roczen of 2014, he will win a lot of titles in his career yet

It just goes to show how incredibly skilled Roger is at putting the pieces together when he has control of a team.

It's not difficult, just employ good people, and let them get on with it. get them what they need to do their jobs, and dont interfere..

At the end of his career, there needs to be a major award named in his honor. The Man has had a hand in SOO much history of this sport.

Even then the series wasn't decided till the final moto and Dungey won his share of motos . Hopefully Kenny , Tomac and Dungey will be in top form next season and it should br good . Throw Barcia and Pourcel in there too.

You make it sound like he signed the contract without having ridden the bike. Shocking as it may seem, he's ridden the bike for next year already somewhere and obviously feels as though it's a platform he can do well on. This wasn't a blind decision.

Ken won 5 races last summer, Ryan won 4, and it was one year. It doesn't exactly prove he can beat him consistently.

Cliff Notes:

Other than a bunch of squabbling over whether or not there is merit to what Heiko said, the only factual information that has come out of these 21 pages is that Heiko’s last name is Klepka, not Roczen.

he was known as one of the pickiest MF'rs EVER when it came to bike set up, gear and equipment, tires.........

why would he not step in and totally go to bat for his guy to make sure he was 110% happy with whatever???

really f'n crazy Shocked Shocked

RC couldn't set a bike up to save his life, what he could do was hang off anything and make it win.
