Legends race? How about calling Bob "Hurricane" Hannah, put him on the line, give him a one lap lead and let the rest see if they can catch him! lol

I don't think Emig has the speed to hang with RC or KW. I'm putting my money on KW.

To bad Jlaw doesn't do it! he has been riding alot lately

I really hope they stream this race on Promotocross.com... I would really like to see JT win it... but I have a sneaky feeling about Guy Cooper... He still rides a lot himself today.

JT$ is a legend, just not on the track. He is awesome, though, and I'll bet he'll still rip. I wouldn't be surprised to see him podium. Kdub and RC are going to be faster. Not sure if the rest of those guys can keep their tongues out of their spokes for 15 min. I think he makes my podium or at least top 5.

Damn they could literally pack a 20-30 man gate with all the possibilities I'd rather watch the legends race than the 450s now that the championships over. Definitely pastrami on the Rmzilla, dowd, Duncan, Langston especially since he's an announcer would be awesome to see him out there but he probably wouldn't be physically able to announce after it haha

Why is he an idiot? Sure, Thomas had a career many of us mortals would dream of but this is a legends race. Bob567 has a very valid point. Thomas is currently active with the sport but the reality is his results dont make him a legend, especially in comparison to all of the others.

Btw, i mentioned in a similar thread how awesome would it be to see Cooper on a 125 2t?

Plus, would be cool to see RR mimic what he did that year at Unadilla and catch and pass RC. Personally, I think RR has the ability to surprise because I know he has still be riding quite a bit as we aren't that far removed from him training for LL.

i would not take it to serious with the 'legends' title. there are not to many out there that can or want to race. and having a race with only a handful of riders won't be very much entertaining.

At this point I am more interested in the Legends race than the 450 main. I too would pay to see it live.

Hopefully its not a bunch of middle aged guys on brand new 450's...someone has to break out a 250 2 stroke and go to town.

For some that stopped racing and wanted to beat a rival...this may be their last chance.

I get that and that is respectable. My point wasnt really as much legendary status as the fact that someone was called an idiot about a topic that he presented facts with. Your opinon holds as much validity as mine but it doesnt make either one of us and idiot.
