Talispam Added a reply to New 03 YZF 450

That thing was a beast, my friend bought one new that year. I remember riding it at this twisty sand track in Holland when I was 15. Couldn't believe how fast it was, It seemed really sketchy handling at the time but I guess that's a result of me being a skinny 15 year old haha

What happened to Pourcel too? It's not really his type of track but I was surprised to see him get passed by guys that he's a lot faster than.

By far Pourcel's most impressive ride so far this year. Awesome charge in the 2nd moto, he was making quick work of a lot of guys in the top 10. Some more good news regarding CP is that he just signed a two year contract with Husqvarna!! Still unclear on whether he plans to race SX or return to the...

He's always been...different, but this year I am totally baffled by this guy. It seems like he only gives 100% or anything close to it if he gets the holeshot or a very good start. He never fails to show his raw speed in the morning practices, his odd ability to go from 35th in practice to 1st in one...

I'd have to agree, I can't imagine what that must have been like for him, all the respect to him for coming back! Is that why he does his fast lap at the end of practice when there are less riders, because from what I've heard that crash in 07 in Ireland that paralyzed him happened when Pourcel came off...

I'd have to agree with you ktm12, RC has come off as sort of a jerk at times. He's the GOAT, whatever but that doesn't by any means make him a good trainer, coach, or even team manager. From what I've heard, Hart manages most of the financial/sponsor stuff. RC definitely doesn't seem too positive, I feel like he chalks...

Wow Gajser is crazy fast, this guy is the real deal he keeps impressing. Plus he looks suspiciously similar to Stefan Evert's when he was young.

Yeah the translation kind of makes Bayle seems a little harsher then he said in French, but seriously if RV just doesn't want to race for his own health then who are we and who is Bayle to say that he should have?

Talispam Started a new thread Removing flywheel weight

I have been trying to remove the flywheel weight off my 2006 yz250, so I'm wondering what is the easiest way to do it without causing any damage to the bike. What special tools if any do I need? I've seen a ton of different answers on how to get these things off, all i want is hopefully an easy...

I got this bike from some kid in the ghetto who just did wheelies on it, he had no idea there was a flywheel weight so i don't have the 'special tool' bar thing that you use during installation and removal of the weight. I figure my best bet is to just buy the tools from Steahly to get the...

Wait, how would that lock the flywheel enough so that i can put enough pressure on the weight to actually pull the thing off? Please elaborate haha I'm really stumped on how to get this thing off. I can't even figure out what brand weight it is, doesn't look like a Steahly to me.

Yeah I've seen that article, it still doesn't say how to get the thing off. I'm not even sure what type of weight is on it, whether it's a Steahly or not. My question is how could I lock the engine with the weight there?
