In his pre supercross interviews he was basically calling a championship...had a few injuries and slight flashes of brilliance. But not he is floating in the 8-15th position and really not improving. Is there a nagging injury we don't know about? Or do you think he just does not have the mustard to run up front?

Hill is hot or cold. He has yet to prove that he can run with the top-five consistently even when the planets don't align & everything goes his way. Maybe he'll mature into a championship contender...maybe not. But, just like Dean Wilson...apparently DeCoster sees potential that I'm not so quick to see. He's smarter than me.

I hope deano comes out at A1 and pulls a josh grant from a few years ago. He's more than capable if his arm pump issues are figured out.

His results are far from Factory Rider material. KTM needs to cut him loose if he does not win at least 1 overall this year.

both him and chris something is up. alldredge hasn't done anything since the opener. sucks seeing the local boys struggle. they are both a lot better than what we are seeing. hopefully things come around

Sometimes you just let the stars shine and be patient letting the diamonds in the rough develop.

Only one guy can win. Nobody on Geico or PC has won an outdoor this year either. Let's not forget that Hill landed into a down bike during practice because of poor flagging. He may be still struggling with that injury.

Is this an ok contribution for you? Wink

If I was his team manager he earned his spot on the team for next year by using a braking bump to jump over the sand corner roller in the first few races of supercross. Impressive.

He also crashed on that and it cost him the race win.

There is something more to riders like Hill and Wilson. Look at Dungey. He is more aware of his surroundings than guys like Wilson and Hill. When he's on the track, he's watching what anyone in front of him is doing and paying attention to every detail. He knows how to ride practice to get a fast lap and avoid traffic. Dungey doesn't luck into his kind of success. It's extremely calculated. I think that is something that is very well missed with championship riders. Both Hill brothers seem to have a lack of concentration or attention to that sort of detail.

You're a smart man. Dungey's greatest strength is his mental game. He's smart and calculated and it's why people don't like him and it's why he's consistently on the podium.

You sound so stupid, cut him loose? The guy has serious potential, he got 2nd at Glen Helen then the next week got injured because a flagger wasn't doing his job, I would expect big things from him next year if he's fully healthy

I don't have the results in front of me, but didn't he come out last year and look really impressive at the Monster Cup? I was thinking he would be a front runner for sure.

Exactly. I reckon none of these guys would be riding their best after a get-off that nasty, and their best is far from championship level speed, and all the commitment and effort that speed entails.

Little Hilly is a bad ass on a scooter. Give him time to put it all together.
