Well, we do know that when the Stewarts went to a race when James was younger they drove up to the entrance and the person said "we don't race no niggers here". That had to have been at least 1990 or so. Shit, at James' first year (or it could have been the year that he fell in the second moto and came from last to first) I was walking from my car at the Budd's Creek National and as I'm walking behind two white guys one says "yeah, that nigger doesn't belong out there, he's going to get smoked". I actually heard that with my own ears at an MX track.

According to thier Logic and if we apply it to like the 9/11 Attacks on the WTC. Why did America attack Afganistan even though the 19 Men who flew those planes into the buildings are ALL DEAD. Since the people (19) who actually attacked America died during the attack, America had/has no right to attack Afganistan and Iraq. And since it was in "THE PAST" we should have just all moved on with our lives and left Afganistan and Iraq alone because the people who are alive there did nothing to America.

Some of the same people that say forget about slavery, it was so long ago, also demand the right to fly the battle flag of 150 years ago on federal land to preserve the "heritage" and "culture" of the same time period.
You can't really have it both ways. While you're at it, you should just forget about everything in the past, like the time when White Christians formed the US identity.
My Dad grew up in segregation and plenty of Black Americans remember it, not to mention the blatant racism that followed even after the Civil Rights Act. Hell when I was in high school I wondered why the water fountains came in sets of two, and why there was a balcony in the movie theater.

Here is what I was talking about. You're trying to say that segregation still exists. That white people don't let black people into their establishments. For the most part that probably only happens 1% of the time and again. You are an adult (I think) and you can choose to not go there just like I can choose to not go to "black areas." You have all the same opportunities that I have. I can see you bringing up your parents that may have grown up 50 years ago but everyone on CNN bitching about racial issues is usually about 20 years old and had every opportunity that any white person had.

I've still never heard a Jew using the Holocaust as an excuse, or a Japanese person complaining about Hiroshima or Nagasaki....Both about 100 years more recent then the end of slavery.
