T. Hahn vs. Matthes

Many pro mx'ers seem to be incredibly thin-skinned and think it's the job of media to be cheerleader. It's news and analysis, not PR.

I could see Tom working his way into the role of team manager on his current team.
Matthes has stated something about hockey broadcasting in his future a time or two.Grinning
Steve Matthes and Don Cherry would solid gold!Silly

true ,but yet most here are saying that , T Hann and other rider should just like Matthes because he is media . or do his show . least Hann and RC are true to what they feel . i am sure that there are a load of riders who hate Matthes ,but still come on the show ,when they need a ride ,or to advertise something . and then prob bitch about him as soon as there off the line .

ps. i love what Matthes does , love the pulp mx show , because he tells it how it is .but to be honest, i really dont know how half the rider s dont hate him in the same way Hann and RC do .he can have very harsh word s about guy s, and alot of the time he is right . but i can understand if the rider take offence ,and never want to talk to him again . it would be different if they had to talk to him ,for TV or something and would nt . but calling riders unprofessional for not talking to some one they dont have to is really stupid . i dought steve is losing sleep over it anyway .

It's very possible and I hope he does! He's a pretty popular guy. I'm sure he will land somewhere within the industry if he chooses to do so.

Kenny Watson said it best regarding T.Hahn

He more or less said "dude..you've had your chance..you were at factory connection honda and had a few factory rides..its time to let it go"

and Watson is right.

WTF is T.Hahn doing racing the 250 class?

lol

Not what I said: it is unprofessional to get butt hurt and not provide your sponsors visibility because of your thin skin. The professional route is to come on the show and give Steve a hard time or bury the hatchet. Either way. Shit talk all you want off the air and Twitter. That is fine.

I am a professional. I work with people I don't like All The Time. I might shit talk in private over beers, but at work, I have a job to do so I put my personal feelings aside to get the job done. It's plain and simple.

Matthes critiqued his riding. Tommy got butthurt like most riders do and ran his mouth about Matthes. End of story.

These riders don't have it too bad when it comes to the media. I follow all sports and those athletes would probably laugh at MX guys for bitching about the media

I've never talked to Tommy at a big race like a sx or national, but I rode all the time at River Valley mx in tx where he and Will rode at alot. And I can say that anytime my son's went to talk to them they both were great with my boys!!!! Very friendly, talkative, funny, just great ambassadors for the sport in my opinion ....
They have a lot going on on race day, that could be part of it...

Because I've noticed there is some beef, and I was wondering why. I thought this was the best place to find out. Turns out it was. You didn't have to click on it, I skip posts all the time.
