I know it's only the first race but DAMN! That's a Carmichael or Stewart like margin.

Those are pretty damn consistent times. Now, if he can be that consistent through the series, he'll have something. And why couldn't he ever start that close to the front in Supercross? This is like the bizarro Eli.

Tomac was cheating, NO ONE can WIN without Aldon Baker standing over you watching you do pushups...

For sure. Check his locker for whatever Millsaps had, call WADA and the FIM. Blood and urine samples immediately. Tear the bike apart. It's all fake.

When Georgia said: "We'll be back in a few minutes to interview Dungey" I subliminally added "when he finishes his race"

Eli was on a rail today. Untouchable. Congrats to him and the Geico team.

And to Roczen for gutting it out in moto 2. Incredible.

ET's average lap time (2:09.62) was over a second faster than the fastest lap anybody else had in the race (RD5 at 2:10.92)! Now that's a statement!

A Hemi AND all of the electronics off of Hondas MotoGP bikes.

Stewart and Davi were seen handing something to him prior to the 2nd moto. Jeff Alessi was also at the end of the start straight again.

Pretty bullshit comments out of Dungey on the podium. "Working on a new bike". OK Dunge, you've been on the best bike for a half a year already, stop with the pussy excuses. You got your ass handed to you, admit it.

I'm not getting on the bandwagon, I still think Dungey will win the war but that was the most impressive day in USA motocross in at least 20 years.

That's been the go to excuse for the last 10 years or so. "We made some changes and went in the wrong direction". In MC's and Carmichael's day I don't remember anyone ever blaming bike setup. Seriously, who started that shit. Someone heard it from MotoGP and started using it in mx. Next thing you know they're going to be blaming tire chatter.

Perhaps it is just Eli's track. There are 11 others to go to.

The thing with Eli is that he's genetically the best athlete in the field. He's the most athletic motocrosser on both sides of the pond. I've quietly believed that with his strength and ability to manhandle the bike, he'd be able to win in Europe on those beat to hell tracks. His rides there have been impressive. RV is a rail the outside line kind of guy. With all of his years missing MX, he's lost his familiarity with rougher tracks. This is coming from a guy who has been shouting about how their series is tougher and their riders are more skilled.

How do you know it is the best bike? Because he won Supercross on it? If we go by that logic, Eli's bike is by far the best in the world after today. Best riders does not equal the best bike.

He is correct I mentioned that in some other Threats.

He was on the best SX bike the last 6 month.
All the test reports from "don't get me wrong" average Joe's are speaking the same language.
The most riders on a FE 15.5 could not go that fast to realize it, simple as that.

But in professional Racing that's a different story.
See JM in the 250 they revalved the shock between moto1 and 2 and as he mentioned it was night and day.

I expected that the KTM 450 will be not as good in the outdoors than at SX.

The entire bike was build for winning that damn SX championship.
The bike doesn't ride on rails in rough and fast tracks was more than obvious.

They will need some time to dial it in and make some significant changes.
Wondering how they can change the geometry with the production rule.

KTM will have a lot of work to do to get it done.

Regarding the field right now there are only 3-4 riders who can go fast a 30min Moto.

#3 he has proven that today hope he had dialed in the starts now would be cool
#5 but not with the bike like it is now
#94 he can go way faster but not with a injured back
#41 still injured

I would call them 2nd grade with ability to win not meant negative
#14 he has to sty on the bike 1st
#51 needs to stay on the bike as well
#21 like #51
#23 running out of steam but another 3-4 races and he can be up top
#22 time is over he is running out of steam
#4 he was faster on a 250 or better
#377 need some more races he is out of shape not style

It's a new bike outdoors though... And Hangtown is a little bit of an odd duck straight off the bat. All the teams say it's not like the others in terms of bike setup.

Plus, Eli usually kills it at Hangtown and Dungey has had some up and down rides there. Remember 2009, 2010 not so hot, and in 11/12/13 he was ok but not great.

Wait until GH and High Point to see if he's still not comfortable.
