It is crazy how James has fine tuned is riding style of the years. Back on the 125 I remember him doing some amazing things but it was wildly out of control...now everything is so flowing and perfect.. It looks like he could turn it up at any point and still maintain control.

That is beautiful, for some reason this little 8 sec clip is one of my all-time Bubba favorites, I still think Bubba on a 125 is the greatest thing ever hitting the MX world

The video of James doing some amazing stuff on his personal practice that he has done a gazillion laps on is cool. But the guy hasn't been able to pull off a championship since 2009. So in short. The fact that it was a cool video that he did some amazing stuff on, and .99 cents will get you a "Big Gulp" at Seven Eleven.

James is one of the best that this sport has ever seen. But like all legends, his time has past.

And now again on a negative note...

So is opinion incorrect, or is it just not cool to not fall in line with others who get all wound up about another one of these videos of a rider (or other riders) on their private practice track?

Honestly?

Your opinion might carry a bit more weight if this thread was about James' racing, however it's not. This thread was started with a positive vibe about a well done video featuring an incredibly talented rider. Nothing more, nothing less. I guess some people just have to find the negative in every situation, though.

Really Jim? I was thinking we were mostly just commenting on how cool it is to watch James flow around a track , and complimenting the author of the video for doing such a great job. We should just enjoy things like this , without trying to compare rider stats and so forth.

His time has "past"? Not sure what you are trying to say here Debbie Downer? Sheesh! If James were to go on tour putting on riding clinics or exhibitions I'll bet a hell of a lot of people would show up!

He won 5 Supercross races just last season (the last time he was allowed to compete) against everybody that was there this year and more. Clearly his time has past.
