I kept telling everyone RV is overated in 450 outdoors! He has really never dominated outdoors, especially in the 450's! 2011, he barely won the c'ship and only had 3 wins.(btw, Dungey would've won if not for mechanicals)2013, yes he dominated, but lets face it, Dungey was his only competition! I kinda chuckled inside when all the fanboys said he was going to completely destroy the GP's!
You're an idiot. In 2013 he slayed the competition.

I don't enjoy RV have some adjustment problems, the fact that everyone can't come to grip with is that I am a realist, I don't favor any one rider, I call them like my experience tells me. MX is not a sport of unrealistic hope and emotion only facts and realism. I will accept apologies from the inexperienced GP followers who seem to base their predictions on a emotions and a limited amount of actual factual basis for their statements. Thank You and see you next week.

Yes they have but I'm talking about any of them over there right now. Have you seen herlings ride a sx track? Woohoo looked like a bowling ball

Throttle hand vs. clutch hand? You're really not that dumb are you?

Lets hope he can be 100% at valkensvaard!
He was doing really good and the battle with desalle was insane.
But i had a strange feeling, like he was trying too hard

Anyway props for the Source, hes constantly bashed even if he's usually right.
Truth hurts, go ask Galileo Galilei

I agree 100%. not sure what the problem is bike, fitness? tony also doesn't seem like hes 100% ether. all I know is RV has never had issues when he came over for the mxon and it follows the same format as these races. im going to just guess its the bike/mechanic and possibly a little on the fitness side but who knows. its so hard to tell especially when the guy just wanted to retire of all things. I just hope he stays with it. I really want to see RV and all the gp riders at glen Helen this year

Agreed. Cairoli has amassed eight (I think) world titles. He knows what it takes to beat all comers...and when to bump his game to a higher level when fast guys like Nagl or Desalle come up and threaten his territory. I think Villopoto knew it wouldn't be easy...and I'd really hate to think the guy will really hang it up after this season if he doesn't win the title. This is definately a trial by fire for him, and I think if he takes this year as a learning experience, he can come back next year & do some damage.

Every Supercross rider has crashed in the whoops at one time or another.

Herlings is every bit as talented as Roczen and if decided to turn is attention to Supercross he would be successful at it.

Yeah thats what i hope. I dont think he is happy leaving europe without being a threat to the end. It was and is obvious he need more track experience. Taking a year of did not help Ryan at all. He can be a contender but he needs more experience ? One more season would be awsome.

I have a feeling this was the last race Nagl could trashtalk himself out of contention. I had a feeling he would be this good, his confidence in Argentina From catching and passing everyone has raised him a level.

He will expect to fight for victory everywhere, and he is that good and versatile. He is on the best bike out there and also a great starter. He will give AC a real challenge.

EH wrong Smile Herlings himself said he dont want to do supercross cause he aint comfortable when he tryed it out, he was actually struggling big time on a smaller more arena cross style of tracks, then imagine yet alone a real supercross track. And ofc you crash its bloody motorcycling racing.

He kept it pinned because Desalle looked like he had the run on him, they were banging bars, they'd already passed and re-passed,Desalle made a real aggressive pass on him in the first race too,it's just hard racing, and on a track RV wouldn't have seen in the US either

I am impressed, that's a very noble act. Rode my first one in 75, didn't qualify and never did actually. fact is i didn't have the talent but I tried. One thing I always have told my son in his attempts is that everyone one on that GP starting gate is a winner just by being there. I'm outta here, this is boring, see you next week.

Cairoli stole his gate in Argentina, don't know if he did it again. Probably mindgames by AC, but I think Nagl doesn't fall for it.

I think being a father recently has made Nagl mentally stronger. He has all the parts to be a champion 2015 and AC knows that.

Nope he said it himself in a interview ? Maybe things change but he would struggle big time on a supercross track. But there is plenty of american struggling on it to, Mike Brown was a perfect candidate for that.

Fair play. I've said it before and I'll say it again the World Championship is the premier outdoor series in the world because everyone is all in for mx ( in USA guys hired more for SX which is the priority) and it's in a range of different countries and tracks with lots of variables.

The US nationals are fast too of course, but for RV he's racing in his own country every week on one style of track, racing the World Championship is a different ballgame don't favour one county and that's why it's the measuring stick for best in the world outdoors.

However, RV adjusted well to the track today but he still couldn't beat his main championship rivals even though he was on their pace that first moto.

When Desalle put a few passes on him in race two I think he got flustered, what happened next was what a lot of us feared for RV on this track.. too much throttle and a big crash. Up till then he had been riding smart and controlled but Desalle flustered him and he lost his composure a tad. Pretty unfortunate he had to DNF though.

But this is why everyone said he had put himself in a hole in the first three rounds on tracks that should have suited him. He had no margin for error by the time he got to round 4. By the second moto he was 29 behind Desalle and 24 behind AC. That's a lot of points to make up and he knew it... then the accident.

I hope he is ok and he is ready for Valkenswaard because he will still win races but now he needs to go 1-1 a few times in a row to get these points back providing the top three don't crash out themselves.

As for Cairoli getting beat by Nagl, Max has won the three of the first four rounds and Cairoli is tied with him on points going into the first sand race of the year and just one point behind Desalle for the lead. That's what AC does! Hopefully Nagl and Desalle can keep him under pressure though, they are riding great.
