He's had 3 serious injuries in 1 year has been off the bike probably far more than any others out there. He's riding back into it. New bike (limited time) New team (limited time). How narrow minded people on here are

I dont mean to be a dick but Peick was a FAR better signing for JGR than Barcia and it kills me that everyone keeps making excuses for his shitty riding...The "Limited Time" theory is especially funny because he was signed sealed and delivered before the SX season was over last year meaning he's had PLENTY of time to ride and get used to the bike. If anyone had limited time it wouldve been Peick.
Lets stop making excuses for Barcia he is not riding well and his 2nd tier of a teammaqte is showing how you're supposed to geti it done, Im sorry but none of what Ive stated isnt true
race forward and shit
Pretty much the definition of hypocrisy right there.
This last one was a fucking cracked hip correct? It was probably also non wt bearing for a period. If you don't think a hip is a major injury then ask anyone who has broken one. I've had both an acl injury and a hip injury in the last three years. They both hurt like a bitch but my hip has been much harder to deal with and I may never shift another gear again in my life with my foot because of nerve damage from that broken hip (my left foot has barely any use right now). This thing is 4 months old now.
Sure mines a worse break and I'm not a barcia fan either but to sit back and say a man's broken up shit ain't a serious injury is bs for you to judge.
To me the mcl you mention isn't in the same league as a broken ankle or cracked hip.
You sir are spot on about what Weston has done, it's been amazing to watch. Barcia hasn't looked good to me on that new Yamaha yet and he came into this season healthy. He hadn't raced in awhile but he had ample time to do better than he was doing I thought.
I know they said he wasn't happy with the Honda but for sure he was faster on it than he has been the yami so far!
But, I do hate the way Barcia thinks he has to ride most of the time. Other riders get it done without the slamming, brake checking & making every pass a near-park or punting event...but JB is what he is. To me he's overhyped & makes up for a lot of other riding skills by living out his nickname way too much. But, that's just my opinion.
Pit Row
People bitch when a rider fights to keep his position.
We should all try to agree on what Barcia should do next weekend, get everyone on the same page. J-bone can relay the message to him so we can all be happy.
2 - 250 SX titles
11 - 250 SX Wins
3 - 250 MX Wins
2- 450 SX Wins
By my count that's two titles and 16 wins more wins then Peick.
Also Barcia has 57 podiums and Peick now has 1.
But, I have to admit: I like watchng Chuck Norris...uh, I mean Weston, a little more.
1. As you noted, block passing is slow. If you are in 5th, and you block pass your way to 2nd...you will probably lose 5s to the leader in the process. Every time you do it, you and the guy you pass both lose lots of time to the riders ahead of you.
2. Block passing is risky. If you block pass 100% of the time...over the course of a season, you will end up on the dirt a number of times. That is enough to cost you a a position or two in the standings.
3. They dont have to. Stew, RV, even ET...they have the corner speed to come in wide, square early, and get drive off a corner to set a pass up on exit. Have we EVER seen Barcia do this? No. He does not have that level of corner speed.
As DV has noted many times, he does not seem able to adjust his style to the 450...
And what does this thread have to do with WP? Why make that comparison... There are 20 riders on the line other than WP....
