#17

Was just thinking about this, but is the #17 a damn championship number?!

Justin Barcia won the east title with #17
Eli Tomac won the west title with #17
Eli Tomac won the outdoors title with #17
Jason Anderson won the west title with #17 last year
and now Cooper Webb locks down the west title with #17

Think I'm picking #17 as my number now.

Ran 17X in '85 dist. 11 250B class. Won the Dist. class that year. Must be something to it.

I wouldn't be surprised if some people who aren't heavy into racing see this #17 winning all time time and go man this guy #17 is unstoppable.

No championships here, just copied my gf's bike# so if either bike breaks during a race we can switch. She has a yz125 #17 too.

#17 is a winning number. Always has been. Ezra Lusk, Kent Howerton, It goes way back. If someone did the archives on it, it was be crazy. A lot of big years with that number in the pro ranks.

Damn!! You beat me to it! Probably one of the most underrated titles ever- beats the works Hondas(which were insane at that time) on a production YZ.

I have run three different variations of #17 since my second year racing in 2003 - 17, 117 and 717. I am not sure why, I have always like the #17, since I was a kid.

Unfortunately, I have to be the rain on this threads parade - I have never won a moto...........Blush
