Not sure who I like better that is...
Hanny or his mechanic Dan Castloo. If I had my choice as a racer, Castloo would be the guy I would pick for sure...

And he better get on that d@mn podium! I bet a pack of jerky and a sixer at the start of the season he would podium at least three times. (Heat races don't count) There are now three races left including East vs West.
All hope is not lost yet....
-Works hard
-long hours
-cares about what hes doing and is thinking about how to do his job better
-doesnt bitch
-does whatever is needed of him whether its his job or not
His hard work and dedication is going to pay off long after the Hanny era is done.
I've pointed out to my sons after every video----'note this guy's attention to detail and work ethic...' So there ya have it--Daniel's a role model.
BTW, anyone who spews hate towards Josh has never met the dude. Nicest pro you'll ever meet in public. You can have an opinion about his choices, but Josh is anything but an a-hole.
Pit Row
He has known his career path since before he was legal, so there was a couple seasons where he had to take extreme measures to make it happen!

Awesome to see he flipped the switch from his past and see how committed he has become to a positive future. I know there were a lot of doubters at the beginning of the season, but it sure does appear Hanny got it right this time. When you surround yourself with quality people like Castloo and Ty Kady and the rest of his crew, you not only benefit as a racer, but benefit by becoming a better person for it.
We need more "better people" in this world for sure.
Good job team 100...
What makes Daniel stand out is that he appears to be the major piece of the puzzle in righting the shipwreck that is known as Hanny. It looks like he has done more then just spin wrenches, hes been there for moral support also. A steady hand at the wheel if you will.
Anyways, like a lot of the previous posts of people having met Hanny, I have had the pleasure of bumping into both Hanny and his trainer Ty Kady on more than one occasion here at our tracks in So Cal while practicing. And like a lot of the other people who posted, my experience when I spoke to Hanny and his crew were that they were nothing less than normal humble moto dudes out at the track that like to ride motorcycles.
Good people who put in hard work that should be recognized, that's all....
