What a fuckin pussy. Build a fucking GP track, with no jumps,no berms, not fucking whoops! Just a flat fucking field with a starting gate. Wow what a fool he made of himself, at least AC22 won a moto, cant say much about him.

Dear Mr Lupino-pussbag.

Please quit racing and dump all your stock into this product. I think it will help all that sandy-vag feeling you must be going through.

Euros don't understand that has RV always been more of a motocross guy rather than SX. Wait till its a real MX style track and he will win by an even bigger margin. Evil

Not sure we can call the dude a pussy considering he was worried about the track but still ran his motos.. that takes balls..
I'm not sure I really agree with him about it being built just for RV but the track really did suit RV compared to the Euros (not the reason he won)

Jeffro Ironic you talk about sand in a vag.. I can remember you packing some in yours about the des nations being run at sand tracks solely so the Euros can win, I remember you said something like we ride DIRT bikes not sand bikes haha

Maybe you and Lupino can administer a bit of vagisil for each other
(this is meant as a cheeky jibe so don't get all angry at me like you do at the stewy luvvas haha)

Alessandro Lupino - "you make the track to let him win..."

Well basically he said this above and just so happens to be the title for the thread. So saying that , and no other rider did....makes him look like a whiny puss.

Maybe I'll start calling him Alessandro Lupuss-in-boots ? Hmmm?.....Kinda liking that name to be honest. OH.....and Jemcee....we were still on the box at those sand tracks.

Please, back down on the Fan Boiism, JB479 You're reading like a US fanatic.

He was OK, he got going again - like any racer would. The other bloke (Butron, I think) , jumped just as far (missed the soft spot), but didn't prang.

I have enormous respect for Ferris - he pulled his finger out, and paid his own way to Europe / the GPs ( he did a few GPs, for a couple of years before he got the ICE One ride, I think) , as it was his dream, when he could have made a reasonable living here in OZ. Reasonable in at the level of a good tradesman, unless he went on to domination here. I doubly admire him for taking up an offer he really couldn't refuse, and going to the US, doing quite well ( and, getting hurt back here in OZ practicing), then going back to GPs. Not all want to race in stadiums, on vicious, rinky dink little tracks.

I hope he avoids injury, and progresses. He's done so much off his own bat.

He's certainly a 'doer', and I really wish him well. Waters probably owes him a vote of thanks, as Ferris' efforts shone light on the level of even 'non champions' here in OZ.

Our riders don't need 'Fan Boi' fanaticism JB - leave that crap to others.

Well, the track was dangerous. Multiple riders said that. Not just the (way too many) jumps, but the climate was the biggest enemy on such a "videogame track" like Lieber stated. It's the first time in years that I've heard so many riders complain about it. Simpson, Strijbos, Lieber, Herlings, even Cairoli who is mostly optimistic. I think that means something, doesn't it? Most "Euroes" like you guys like to call them, just didn't take too many risks as they want to get back to Europe in one piece for the real start of the championship in Italy. I hope the track in Neuquén will be alot better.

Lupino is just frustrated about his shoulder injury from last year and still misses his race pace. Stupid comment about RV, that's for sure.

Alessandro Lupino: Thailand GP...now back home and I can work harder on my shoulder.but I'm pissed off, you make the track to let him win but please don't put at risk our security. Adesso si torna a casa per lavorare sulla spalla. Ma sono arrabbiato con colui che ha fatto una pista così per far vincere qualcuno e si è visto quante brutte cadute e infortuni ci sono stati!foto di @enzotempestini
I didn't read all comments but Lupinos statement wasn't very clever. I also think it was a shitty track, and pretty dangerous too in the heat but why suggest "a specifik rider" has something to do with it?

Lupino is having a hard time in MXGP and always will. He should use his frustration to improve his skills instead. I can see why this makes US fans angry but I can assure most euros are just excited and happy to have RV2 here. We have had shitty and dangerous tracks on the fly-aways long before he arrived. I don't think anyone likes them.

I'll always find it hard to hate on Lupino... His voice is waaay too funny hahaha

I can understand Lupino's comment, although thinking the track was designed for Rv is misplaced. There where politics and personal gain involved in the Thai GP track being moved from Sri Racha to NakonChai Sri for Thailands last contractual GP race.
Even on video the Nakon Chai Sri track dirt media looked absolutely horrible and inconsistent. Lots of riders complained about the steep chewed out jump take offs.
It was absolutely crazy that the track was moved away from a sand media track, a track that can handle being over watered as is needed in tropical weather. There are people close to the Thai organization that are also very disgusted the race was moved.

All I will say is the head of FIM in Thailand owns the Nakon Chai Si road race track where the GP was held this year, I guess he had a big hand in bringing the MXGP to Thailand and thought he deserved to hold the race on his circuit. All his previous good work has now gone to the shitter. Sad really for all those who had worked hard to run the past 2 events.

I've noticed that transition over the years.

I used to see so many Kiwi tracks, and just hate to see them wasted on such a bunch of mongrels (we Luvs yuz, Kiwis ! )). Beautiful , rolling , grassy tracks, seemingly put down on a local farm. Lovely to see.

They seem to have gone, at least with your major events. We here in OZ, have had to deal with 'The Speedways Act', something from the 50s. Tracks have to go through a fair amount of BS, for licensing. Perhaps you blokes have had that sort of thing come in there?

Or, as I suspect, the SXification of MX, just grows ever wider.

It really needs to stop, but I doubt that it ever will. Leave SX, in stadiums, on tiny, postage stamp sized areas. That, needs the sort of circus obstacles to make it interesting. I've been watching SX for decades now, and whilst it's far better than the numerous ball and stick games, and 'cage' racing, I find it far, far less interesting than Motocross. There is far too much SX in Motocross now.

Oh, , US readers( or, well informed MX readers from anywhere) the picture of Unadilla, circa 1980 - is that Tom Benelokin (sp?) or, one of those brothers?
Not here in Aus, just in New South Wales,

Glad we don't have to deal with the crap you guys have to there to get a track approved.

Thailand track looked crap. Had a few mates head over and they compared it to a local club race day here in Aus!

Yet last years Thai track was half decent. Go figure

I try to be not biased, but i think its really sad that they think the jumps are a problem. I prefer more old school not too many jumps myself but i do like our tracks either way. But i think its insane that they seriously have a problem with them? Arenacross kinda looks insane jump turn, jump turn whoops, jump turn. But i didn't feel this one was that bad in that regard at all.
Jumps are not a problem, they can all do them in their sleep. I think part of the issue was the frequency of them on a very short track and trying to focus in such high temperatures.

The 2008 and 2009 MXdN tracks in England and Italy were similar in style, Tim Ferry said the Donington Park was very Supercross-like, but they both had 2.00 lap times and the temperatures were moderate.

How many outdoor tracks in America are that tight, have 1.38 laptimes, include technical combinations, have very few sections where a rider can catch a break and raced in 100 degree heat? Freestone had over 2.00 lap times and was raced on predominantly flat, soft soil with the odd jump here and there. Red Bud is a fast, sprawling track with lots of straightaways and again raced on softer dirt. Both are gnarly race tracks, but neither is really comparable in style to that track in Thailand.

People also seem to be forgetting, that every single person on here said the track was a pile of shit when they saw it. The comment about RV was just born out of frustration, but there's no denying that the track lent itself to his skill set.

Yep, go figure indeed.

I think the best example of "go figure", or in OZ , " what the fuck?", I are the pictures put up elsewhere here on this site showing the transition of the Irish GP, from Desert Martin to that horse race circuit. That is Luongo's dream.

Then, you've got the Dutch GP at Assen - it's a small country, that's easy to get around, that has plenty of magnificent tracks, yet they are doing a track at Assen. And designs I've seen of it, indicate that it's going to be laughable. I predict a spectator turn up like Lauzitsring, with people going "EFF that, I'll just cross the border". Luongo is, I hope, expecting far too much 'interest' in racing from RV being there. Please, this is nothing against RV, it's entirely against Luongo's regime. I think all GP fans want to see RV in person, no matter where he may be on the points table.

Since I wasn't there racing, I'll have to accept Lupino's and the other riders comments that the track was dangerous. That doesn't bother me, but what does bother me is his comment about it being made for RV. That just comes off as whining besides it being ridiculous. It's a world series there should be all sorts of tracks, some with jumps, some more natural, some sandy some hardpack. The best will adapt. I think a variety of track styles is one thing that makes motocross so amazing and unique.

It was one guy who claimed it was designed for RV and Cairoli said it was dangerous..
For some, sand doesn't constitute a MX2 track, but MX does exist outside the US,shame Southwick isn't on the calendar

I did wince a good few times at guys coming up frighteningly close to being short over that huge triple or whatever it was though Pinch

Still comes off like a whining pussy when calling out a rider (RV), implying the track was designed for him. Has nothing to do with being from America, Spain, France, just sounds like misplaced bitching.
