Really, that should be good for RV. Most Euros are not accustomed to that much heat and humidity. All the riders are in great shape but sometimes where you train is important. It is evidenced by so many US pros training in Florida just for that reason.

This is an amazing series. They spend a ton of time in the air racking some serious miles. Asia, two week break and then South America.

I live in Vietnam and I just got back from a 2 week trip to Thailand Saturday. It's always hot and humid over here. Like someone said above, I think this will help RV the most having spent so much time training in Florida. Nowhere in Europe can compare to the hellish humidity in this part of the world, but Florida and the rest of the deep south almost can.

Well at the very least I think he'll be more comfortable in that kind of environment. At the level that these guys race at, I'm sure any slight edge is important.

Humidity plus this? There's no reason (except bad luck of course) Ryan doesn't perform. Looks like a Florida pro practice track to me. Or a longer SX track with more space between obstacles.

Sorry but it looks like the first two MXGP tracks are POS's........come on GP tracks should be in rolling hills on grass that has a sand or dirt base.... IE natural terrain, the track comes into it's own by ridding it. That's were it started and needs to go back to.....HELL a better race would be on a golf course...long and making it's own. Say what you will, but the GP's are trying to be the next SUPERCROSS!!!!

nah, its just these 2 races. been this way for 3 years now.

nobody really likes them, they offer different racing though and I suppose that's the only draw, also it represents that side of the world - Oz or NZ I expect will get a look in over the next couple of years

Season doesn't start til we hit Valkenswaard in a month - then we get real tracks that mother nature and man paired up on Smile

Welcome to 2003... GP fans have been voicing their opposition to these kind of circuits for many years. If anything, they have actually reverted to more tradtional style circuits on the whole.

In general the tracks on the 2015 calendar are actually pretty good, it's just these first two (and Assen) that are manmade on flat ground. Argentina is also a manmade circuit but they've incorporated some natural undulations that the land at Qatar & Thailand don't offer.

I am really thinking of going to Arco too.
