AJ Catanzaro: My brand new 2015 suzuki 250f was stolen out of my trailer last night in Atlanta Please share this post. Looks like ill be heading home after this weekend as I no longer have a practice bike..

That place sucks. I don't care how many people go and they have enough for 2 races. Riders busting their ass to get there, and with not being in the secure team parking area, are the ones who suffer. Hope they find it AJ.....but unfortunately the police don't care either.

*sorry for the rant but those who know me here know why.

shithole! Hate to here this crap every year. But really Atlanta is not representative of our state as a whole ! But the city of Atlanta sucks from the mayor ,city council ,school board,etc. all the way down to the scumbags on the streets who feel everyone owes them something!

That sucks! I hope AJ gets his bike back. The last time I was at the Georgia Dome for a race I was so worried that my van would be broken into and my bike would be gone when I got out of the race that I didn't enjoy the race at all.

I have read/ heard that the hotel employees are in on alot of thefts as well, cannot trust anyone, if it was stolen from a hotel park lot, the hotel employees know who took it....The privateer"s should band together & demand security for equipment during the entire event, how would start lines look with no privateers? Atlanta.....this is a unacceptable!

Im not saying that this is AJ's fault, as a former New Englander I'm always rooting for the catman.

When I hear about this stuff I think about my setup for securing bikes and wonder how much people just rely on locking their trailers.

I lock my van always. In addition to that, I have two tow truck quality hardened chains that I run through the frames and wheels of my bikes and lock with two locks on each chain. It is annoying to have to do this after every ride but I sleep a lot better knowing that it would take quite some time to saw through hardened chains and locks.

The chains and locks are expensive, but considering the cost of bikes it is a small investment.

Been to ATL many times, the best part is when I get back inside the airport to get the hell out and go home.

How do guys travel the country with tens of thousands of dollars worth of bikes and not have them insured? Now weather or not the policy would pay as it is supposed to is a whole different story!
