Pissing off guys with nothing to lose isn't smart either. Points are more important to Tomac at the moment.
Too late the deficit is 38 points now, Eli is out of it!

Can have all the speed in the world, that is only one factor in winning a title.

My problem with it was, if someone does something you don't agree with in a race and you wanna get them back, that's cool but if you go for it and fail and fall off like Tomac did last week, I don't know if you can have another go a week later..
Unless it's because Reed said he tried a 'dumbass pass', if it's because of that... well that's a bit lame but I guess it's a reason

Chad and Ellie tend to make themselves look whiny and bitter on more occasions than anyone else.

Lawyers cant fix the reputation that proceeds them.

Quit the crying and finger pointing and try to score a top 5. That would be better than being on twitter threatening a series about a pass that was legit.

As someone pointed out in an earlier post:

Don't piss off someone that has nothing to loose! Plus i think Reed likes Roczen.

Reed needs to fight back and fight back hard.

Would you say the same if any other team owner posted regarding one of their riders?

Not a dig, just a question, you have to remember she is in this as well.

After blackflaggate they will protest anything that resembles retaliation. I think any team owner would.

I like Chad in that he often has some interesting interviews and is of course still a fantastic rider even in the latter part of his career. I still get the sense that he can suddenly win one of these races at any moment - like last year at Anaheim; if he wins again then I'll be super happy for him. But... in regards to this latest situation, it looks as if he hasn't done much to avoid it and I don't think his judgement overall this year has been that good. I mean can you imagine if the roles had been reversed with Eli? Eli hits him twice and then laughs at Chad, basically calls him an idiot when Chad's retaliation pass goes wrong. Chad would absolutely 100% put Eli on his ass given the opportunity a week later. No doubt what so ever. Therefore of course Eli (who isn't the type of character to be pushed around either) is going to do the same if the chance presents, which it did.

You do realize that Ellie Reed is an owner of TwoTwo motorsports, right? Not to mention being married to the team's star rider/co owner. So why should she stay out of it?

This is likely not the end if it between Reed and Tomac.

Chad lost his balance trying to body block Eli - Check how is trying to lean into Eli way off his bike - Eli was cleanly through on the inside - Again !
Eli's line never encroached on Chad - Chad tried to body check Eli and fell off .

Chad Reed mobile Supercross obstacle SX 2015.

What else is he going to do since he cannot just ride fast enough anymore?

Lost his balance and tried to body block him? Really? Just say it out loud bro... Does that sound like something that actually happens.

Common knowledge, if you know contact is coming, and you're on the outside, you lean into it. Just trying to counteract the incoming impact. It's completely normal, it's not about fault, or anything else, it's just what they do...

Watch Reed and JG last week. JG leans into it. They all do.

Semantics?

Nope. You implied fault as if there was some to give... as if it's not a normal thing...

And if we take this freeze frame from your video, Eli's wheel is clearly into Chad's. It's just racing, but to imply it was clean, or somehow attributed to the actions of the guy on the outside is pretty hilarious.

OK - Karmic perspective then - " Eli's wheel is clearly into Chad's " - Whatever ?

" to imply it was clean" - I have seen dirty moves - If this to you is a dirty move by Eli then .... Complete adjustment of terminology and rules required for SX !!!

That just looks like a good inside pass to me. Seen McGrath do it a million times. No fault of either rider, just racing.

Tomac belongs up front but now he has himself in a pretty bad position championship wise. He shouldn't worry about Reed. Reed is a non factor at this point.

I don't see a problem with Eli's pass. I have seen way worse. I turned it off as soon as RD5 crossed the finish line so I don't know what went on in the interviews if anything. I don't care what happened last week, if any other racer was inside Chad like Eli was I suspect the result would have probably been the same. It's supercross racing and totally acceptable what he did, payback or not.

It's too late for either of them in the championship, they need to move on and build some momentum for outdoors. I don't think that will happen.

Yeah I said it was fine, just racing, you said Chad body blocked Eli like he was somehow at fault, from the outside no less, semantics? Nope. Just leaning into it, like my original post.

Clean? Clean would be no contact and a foot inside... Dirty? He didn't t-bone him... There is an area in between called racing, just what it was.

The only footnote to any of it should be the payback nature of it if it was so... because apparently that's not allowed, or maybe it is, if it's a week later.

As a second footnote, why are you annotating "front wheel"? Not sure anyone thought it was the rear...

Bottom line is Eli is faster than Reed - ELI cannot start to save his life - Reed is king of riding a "wide bike" - So we gonna see this all season long - Until Reed gets some speed back or Eli learns to get good starts .

Pass looked fine to me. Chad just wasnt expecting it and leaned too far in. If Chad would have saw it coming he would have stood the bike up more to keep his balance and let the pass happen then go on about his race.

My conclusion. Chad needs to get a little faster. Hes a bit of a road block and guys like Tomac and Canard do not want to get stuck behind him for 3 laps while the leaders gain 3 or 4 more seconds on them.

I listened to the post race Pulpcast with Reed, what happened between him and Seely?

pretty sure eli is a non-factor at this point too..... Dry

both he and reed have the ability to grab a win here and there, if you deny that, you don't have a clue

I thought he just meant he didn't want to wash out like Seely did. Maybe I heard wrong though?

You stupid man, he is trying to keep his bike off Eli's the only way to do that is lean with your body. It was a dirty stupid move on Eli's part, Chad has plenty speed left. I was a big Eli fan until that dumb crap, he needs to take some lessons from Cooper Web. Intentionally taking Chad out on lap one for nothing = stupid and it also robbed the fans of watching Chad run up front. That's why I laughed at Eli's fish flop move right after that, no one near him in a simple turn Karma is real so you better quit hating unless it's justified or you may do a fish flop move in an easy turn haha. peace.

Oh ya as far as Ellie Reed goes, good for her, it's supercross not church, stand by your man, If I could have an autographed picture of her I would tell her to write "Y'all kiss my fine ass!" @crasheightyTwo
