Seems to me that one has been around for quite some time.

I do like the overacting on the roll-out, though. Wink

Hey its a multi purpose vest, you can take it with you when you go fishing or wake boarding. Silly

Looks like it inflates with very little impact. Could you imagine 20 guys going through the whoops and all inflating?

Yeah talk about over acting.......lol

Really not sure I would want to mess with that, can you imagine how many of those you would go through. Atleast a couple a day, could get rather expensive if it doesn't recharge and you have to buy a new one.

I love halloween...its the only day of the year that hot chicks get to dress up like complete horrors and not be subject to ridicule and harassment by other chicks for being a slut. Its always the fattys and ugly bitches that are hating cause there jealous

I'm curious to see what kinda of speeds it will hold up to. He tore that off pretty easily it looked like. Also like Vet954 said what is the force that actually sets it off. I would be laughing my ass off to see Stewart, Reed, Shorty, etc burning thru whoops and look like they're all wearing life vests by the end of them.

A neat idea, unfortunately, you wouldn't want it going off in just a small tip over in a corner or something like that. That guy, who obviously crashed on purpose, didn't hit the ground with hardly any force at all.

I was going to say the same thing, How does it know when it inflate? Because if it inflates due to a high in pack then it wouldnt work in motocross.

That would be great for flat track.

Mx, I don't think so much (might as well get used to going around whoops and rolling all the jumps). Shit, why don't we be extremely SAFE and not ride at all.

same concept as the hit air vest which has been around for quite a few years. we actually have a few mx kids around here that wear them. they seem pretty cool

ok, once again, a lot of bullshit written by some (especially the guy who said it wouldn't be seen in motogp soon, LOL!)

Yes the stunt rider was overdoing it on this video and yea the sensors were set to very low sensitivity.

The D-Air as been in testing for a few years already and the final racing version has been in use in MotoGP and worn by some of the Dainese riders in 125cc, 250cc as well as MotoGP. Valentino wasn't wearing it this season but starts testing in Winter to use it full time in '09. Lorenzo used it as some races (not when he crashes Smile ) and Vermeulen had it all the time.

This is a road racing protection and not intended for, not designed for, not coming to, dirt.

It is NOT triggered by an attached string or tethered. It's using a smart chip with sensors that measure speed, acceleration, side g's. The main target here is to get it triggered in case of high speed highsides.

It is not a replacement of the Leatt and any other neck-brace as it covers a wider, larger area (compared to the Alpinestars road version of their neck-brace).

This one is made for racing only and we have a version in the works for "street use" but that one is far from being final as it involves collision impacts and needs way more calculations and sensors.

IF More MXers were in shape they wouldn't need that shit.
Football players get dropped on their head 10 times a night wearing a 10 dollar neck roll from big 5 sporting goods.

Of course, they are in shape, not a bunch of playstation jockeys with riding skills, and flabby arms.

I don't know, was it a high side, what speed, etc... I can ask if you want. You didn't hear of anything? Smile Sorry mate, it's been on MotoGP TV once or twice already. Also we are not going to spend money in marketing and promoting until the client version is ready.

If you're interested, here's what's on the website.
