I like bowers, but i do agree he came off appearing to be a prick. I was always taught the ones that communicate they are big and bad are the ones who are fake. The silent people are the ones who back it up.

There was another Tyler about a decade ago. Maybe a little more than a decade ago.

Next year it becomes the AC and Webb show. This Tyler can end up wrestling or in thug life magazine like the other one did.

I agree. His interview kinda sucked tonight, but these are KIDS and they make mistakes. Open their mouth without "thinking" much about what they're saying. Personally their rivalry Is something I look forward to each week. Bowers doesn't have the speed to stay on Webb's pace, IMO. Give Bowers a break, he's a nice change from the Baggett/ Dungey/Villopoto interviews.

It didn't really feel real to me and I therefore couldn't take it that seriously. Definitely felt very scripted. With that said, though I respect his ability on the track I'm not a huge fan of Tyler. Cooper says stupid things too but it's a little more understandable given his age. He sort of reminds me of Herlings - both totally cool guys but just young and cocky. But when you're well into your 20s and you start talking about getting someone back because they said such and such about you... the whole thing was farcical and even as a joke, cringe worthy. If you're going to crash a rider out (potentially injuring someone over the most ridiculous of slights), well then do it. But again it's probably all nonsense anyway.

It's a shame about Osborne's gate malfunction. I totally support the decision to restart because it was the correct thing to do imo. But from a selfish pov it did ruin a much better race scenario we had going with Tyler and Cooper.

I have to agree about the scripted thing, at first I was getting pissed off watching him talk like that, but then he said "If they want me to be the villain, I guess i will accept it". He was playing it up for the camera, you could tell they wanted that from him. Unfortunately for him, he's getting played by Feld, as a character that will not be good for him and his career later on after the pro circuit thing is over. He's just another Vince Freise IMO.

Definitely felt more scripted than anything else and I bet both riders will say, or agree, that the media edited it to make it look that way. If that is the case then its kinda crappy they (the media) want to make the riders look this way.

Sometimes he talks very humbly and realistic about his riding and is a great interview......love hearing that........ and other times, as in the case with Webb comes off as a total bully thug asswhipe!.

The part where he KEEPS SAYING "he wouldnt say that to me in a room by ourselves" comes off as a total D bag! saying it once in the heat of emotion is one thing but he keeps on and on with that ....as if he is just trying to intimidate Coop now.

I say throw him in a room with Weston Peik and see who talks shit then.

I wonder whos talking shit now tho after last nights results?

His bad attitude and pea brained comments will be why he doesn't ever get another good ride on a top team. No team owner wants adickhead with no smarts on their team. I would bench him the next time he intentional hit another rider. I'm sure both of them regret what they did but its the past and you can only laugh about it if you want to get over it.

I agree, a lot of played for TV drama...but it sounds like there is plenty of history to back up the thread title. I'm sure he can kick Cooper's ass and plenty other of these kids. But outside of moto and the mass challenged, he best drop it down a gear. He does seem to have the intellect to know that...I'll root against him just the same.
But like he says, every story needs a villan and he seems happy to oblige.

A man who is confident in himself would never want to fight someone over words spoken on the podium. Especially days afterword. It seems clear he has the mentality of an adolescent. Scripted or not.

I would also say that the one who has to resort to bullying and fighting instead of taking the high road and racing.... Is a giant pussy who is afraid of a faster rider.

I would love to see the bullshit stop and the two of them just leave it all out on the track.
