He was slowing down before that happened. Just like last weekend. Fell apart. Sad

I was standing right there, it was gnarly. A bunch of guys were sketchy in that section - JG whiskey'd it big there in the 450 main.

That was intense, the track was rough and tough at A2!

Anyone see the Yamaha (I think Albertson) in the 450 main jump off the track?

I forget who Bowers took out in a heat race but the dude went flying off the bike and never let go of the clutch. Pretty impressive to think like that while you're going down.

If I'm not mistaken...

He's one of the Loretta's Champs that moved up and is still pretty damn young. He's gotten A LOT BETTER since not mailing the Main at A1...?

Compared to some of the guys burning through Kawasaki's money on the 450s? I'll put my money on this kid getting results.

He was about to get me some big fantasy points. My fantasy picks are like the Racer X jinx. If I pick you I feel kind of guilty.

I got screwed by him big time last week when he just disintegrated on the last lap.

Chris is a good kid! I's been quite a few years since I've spoken to him , but him and his mom showed up a few times to the track I used to run ( Indoor AX )....and I always remembered him as being a very well spoken , polite kid. He WILL get faster and better once he gets his nerves to calm down a bit after the gate drops.

Chris is a very technical rider. He doesn't usually make many mistakes on a bike.....but jumping into the pro stuff has forced him to up his game a little and into some unfamiliar limits. He'll adapt and be just fine.

Learning year this year.......next year....title hunt.

That was one hell of a ride by the rookie. Mitch spoke of it the PulpMX pod cast.... stated he was happy with his ride.

I'm still amazed by his corner speed. Looks like he's going Mach speed around some of those bowl turns.

Agreed!! Better chance of a return on the investment in that young gun than on any hole in the ground they are throwing money into in the 450 class.

Can't figure out if he was trying to save it... Or too scared to let go!
