Since coming into SX/MX, I have always thought the JGR Yamahas have been some of the best looking, trickest looking bikes out there. I remember JS7's YZ. Wicked. But what the heck happened this year? Just personal opinion but that bike is downright ugly. Anyone got any decent pics so I can get a better look?
A couple more from PitBits.
What held me back in the main event was the start. I had to fight through the pack, but at least I showed that I’m comfortable on the bike and can put it where I want and be aggressive. I definitely want to be on the podium, but when I got back Coy [Gibbs] wasn’t bummed at all. He was like, “Dude, you’re there, you’ve got the speed.”

But thats what we get when manufacturers step away and let satellite teams run the effort !
Get used to it !
Honda always has the best looking bikes in my opinion.
There are some ugly bikes this year, especially the kawaski teams (except Hanson)
Look at Hondas roadracing effort, the Repsol bikes, and tell me their traditional red isn't for sale. It jus happens to look pretty good, btu if Reposl was pink, you'd see pink Honda's.
Worth noting is the one color, one theme bikes really dont have much outside money coming in, and I though that is what everyone wanted? Or, they do have money from an anonymous company.
Imagine going to a Football game at the :"Screw Magazine arena"
It would be very cool if Hustler, Playgirl, or some porn magazine wrote a check too large to resist, and they had to use it.
Pit Row
I mean honestly, who the f... uses a lime green mirror effect round bubble, looks shit, sort it out Autotrader.
I'd drop the cyan grads, purple crap, clean the colour scheme and block it out with some clear clean sections, blue and white only... Big auto trader logo, blue on white, not white on black and then work the other in. Smaller numbers, make use of the real estate at the back, silver forks, rims to match the frame and blue highlights like a yamaha should.
Present three.
One you really like, one you want and one uncomfortable lamb.
Looks good btw!
