being at anahiem when jeremy retired and was doing a parade lap... never heard louder cheers i was sad to see my favorite go but it was cool to see all the love from the fans

I forget what year Supercross it was in The famed Pontiac Silverdome cause I was young and....well, nother story. but
Bob Hannah had pulled the holeshot in the Silverdome and his front end washed out and went down in the first turn.

After the last guy went by he commits to getting his bike running and putting on a show that was unforgettable.

Passing the leader ( I think it was Ken Howerton) on the "Miller High Life" jump on the last lap (arms in the air) to take the win.

I was hooked

My top racing memory would have to be JS battling RC at Red Bud in 2007 (I believe). They were on a level of their own that day and battled from start to finish until they got too close in one of the last corners and JS got stuck in a rut and went over the bars. It happened right in front of me and then I see the photo in the next month's magazines... it was awesome.

The other one would be watching Stew come back to beat Chad Reed at the Indianapolis Supercross in 2009-ish. I got a photo of Chad on one of the jumps from the stands, and then the next month's Dirt Rider magazine had the same photo from the same jump, but taken from the infield. If you looked close, you could see me in the stands taking the same damn photo from the other side, lol. I'll see if I can find the photos tonight haha

The first time I ever saw anyone "brake-tap" over a jump. It was at the Atlanta round of the nationals at Six Flags Over Georgia in 84'. There was an big uphill double that went immediately into a left-hand 180. We sat there for a good bit of the race watching how the guys were handling it. One of us noticed that Bailey's (and later O'Mara's) rear brake was locking up every time they went over that jump. At first we thought something was wrong with the bike, and then we figured it out they were doing it on purpose. At the time, we didn't know why, we just knew they were going through that section faster, and smoother, than anyone else. It was a thing of beauty.

A 3-digit Jim Pomeroy surfing the sand down hill at the Boise Inter-Am in 1972.

Watching a some kid on a white DT-1 in 1968, riding and jumping in a vacant dirt lot. At that moment I knew all I wanted to do is ride dirt bikes. And I am still am.

After the 2002 East coast sx series I was already a die hard chad reed fan, at least for a 9 year old. So when i went to the southwick national that year he was my man but when he didnt come out of the woods section for a while and when i saw him getting wheeled out on the mule I was devastated. Then the second moto when he rolled around on the parade lap and came out for the 2nd moto after dislocating his shoulder that was just the most badass thing to me. Since that day hes been hero status to me

For me, one of the top had to be "THE" Reed crash. Not so much the crash, but when he was riding a few minutes later.

I also thought of the Robbie Madison jump in 2008. I know its not really moto, but the entire thing was amazing.

There are several and oddly enough two are with Chad Reed. Here's one I will never forget.

2008 Daytona, last lap with a corner or two to go and a commanding lead.

I was there, and was riding high on watching Richter in the premier class on Grandpa Villopoto's CZ ...and seeing myself there through those rose colored glasses... in several years.

I then witnessed that 2nd moto charge of RD's from the back only to make a 60 mile an hour sandwich with himself and his Zook. The Rose glasses came off and I rethought my moto dreams after that one...

Pretty cool Sully 22 you saw that epic RC and JS battle live! I watched it on TV and to this day have never seen two humans ride their machines any faster. Truly believe physics was the only thing keeping them from going any faster. BTW my pulse has increased, breathing shortening just reliving it in my mind.....seriously.

Just doesn't get any better than that IMHO.

As a kid, finding the listing for the slightly time delayed USGP was always a thrill, and seeing Lackey always suffer some bad luck of some kind always pissed me off.

As for being there live, the moment might not have been special for almost anyone else, but the 2003 Washougal National was a pretty special day for me. It was the first National that my oldest son attended, and Windham put a beating on Carmichael that day that just astonished me.

A bunch of us Ohio racers met for lunch yesterday and I told the story about Lackey having wired US Husky HQ ahead of time from Europe requesting special wheels for Carlsbad but the request fell on deaf ears. Lackey was leading the moto when his front wheel started coming apart and he DNF'd.

2013 Minneapolis SX where dungey caught and passed RV for the win,
My cities NHL team has the loudest fans in the whole league, they had NOTHING on the minneapolis crowd cheering on RD, ill never forget that

millville '06 mudder with RC lapping the field

Dallas SX with Reed reeling in RV then going OTB

Houston SX when Canard barely beat RD for Treys first 450 SX win
funny story actually, me and some buddies were getting autographs from canard and my buddy told him to win so he could get fantasy SX points, canard laughed and said he'll do his best
