Congrats on your health.

Where did you get them hose clamps? Do they need a special tool???
I got them from Motion Pro. They come in various incremental sizes. They sell a tool to crimp them on. I saw the clamps recently at The Home Depot.........go figure. They are easy to take off with a flat blade screwdriver or long nose pliers. I would carry a regular screw type hose clamp as a backup if you are on a long off-road ride.

Awesome rebuild Doc! The gold and polished parts really pop on the white plastics.

No, they were the standard Ohlins with some PC magic. Rides really smooth!

Awesome, for the final effect, a custom grip seat would really set her off.

Yes, I bought a small soda blaster at Harbor Freight for just $75.00. Works really well for the price!

A good friend rode this bike for KTM during 03-04 in the GNCC series. This bike was one of the only bikes that wasn't mine I felt comfortable enough to jump on and race without no adjustments. Love this bike. Job well done Doc, great build.

Yes, I will look for a gripper seat with just the right orange, black and white to go with it all.

Of course, SX is coming up so most of my free time is gone for awhile!!

Time well spent! Love to see detail-oriented builds like this. Now it's time to enjoy all the hard work.

Bikes beautiful Doc, and so clean! Did u choose this bike vs a new one for any reason? or just did you just do the build off what you had?

I wanted to restore this before getting a new one this year. I can't decide if I want to part with this one now, but I am waiting for the new 450 Factory model, hopefully coming soon!
