He'll be fine. Stew had two weeks on the Zuk before Hangtown.

Would Josh not be a good fit for PC to replace AC in supercross? Or has he pointed out?

....just becuase he didn't sign with the team until 2 weeks before doesn't mean he wasnt riding one already. Let's just say it wasn't uncommon to see the #7 ride a Suzuki during the week & race a JGR Yamaha on the weekend Wink

Oh yea....Congrats to Hill...see you at A1!!

Josh has pointed out and there won't be a replacement rider.

Glad he has a ride. He has the talent to be top 10 easily, well nothing is easy but he has the talent.

What team is this we speak of? We sure it's Valli and not Brooks related?

Wow that's kinda stupid. 3 weeks to get ready on a bike he's never ridden.

If it's got two wheels and an engine and a support team out there daily for testing......that bike will be dialed in for the rider. Three weeks is plenty of time to get comfortable when it's your 9-5.

These guys do have experience on their resume as racers......pretty sure they'll adapt to different colors???

Soooo no support on a bike youve been riding or a bunch of support on a bike that you can figure out?

They couldn't of done this a month or two ago? 3 weeks before a1 is a big ask to be competitive I think.

Metrodome 2008 I believe and what an evening!. Thanks to Ron Joynt and DeCal Works I was there and the 250 was epic between Grant and RV if memory serves correct. To make the night even cooler Josh's grandfather was in the house as I recall.

What was Josh waiting for? He should've just stole a bike, wheelied a few city streets, and soon he'd have so many bikes given to him he would be handing them out.

Josh will be fine. At his level of riding, he'll adapt pretty quickly. This short test time may affect someone like the elite top tier guys going for the win on a weekly basis, testing to get the bike on the razor's edge, but with no disrespect to Josh, no matter what he was on, or how long he was on it, I don't believe he was going to be fighting for podiums out of the gate. He's got the talent, but in the last several years, he's been lacking a major amount of luck. The guy just can't seem to catch that break he needs. This post of course in all IMHO.

Has this actually been confirmed that he has a ride? Or did he just buy a stock YZF?

People really think this is a bad thing for Hill or the team?
The dumb in this thread makes me sad to be a human.

I'm a josh fan but I really think he would've been better off doing what Wiemer did and stayed on the same bike.

It's a much better deal to spend all of your money to go race, as apposed to signing with a good team with good equipment and actually making money.

I know at my job I prefer to pay to work, and not get paid to work.

Why would any dumb ass want free bikes, gear, parts mechanic, and travel costs paid for when you can pay for it yourself?

If he's signed w Lanza he will have competitive equipment but don't expect an official release...an I quote.."nobody reads that shut Chuck". Lol, for Hills sakes I hope Vallis in it as it will b a good effort

Josh will be fine, the only rider out there who is VERY picky about what bike he can go fast on is argueably Reed, thats not hating on him, he just has a particular setup he likes and if he isnt comfortable then he is not a top 5 guy

Yeah he's definitely a guy who needs to feel comfortable to push.

Funny listening to Grant in an interview not too long ago, he basically said the opposite and is looking forward to testing with Chad...

Think Eli might be a bit the same, he's been bouncing around on his suspension for a bit.

yes I agree, Grant might be very interesting to watch this year.....

Sounds like Eli has a good setup now, suspension wise
