You all get way too caught up in the details. Controversy follows the alessi's like a black cloud, what is the common denominator?

Decotis had a line that gave him enough pop to triple. Alessi couldn't hit said line. Alessi went out and messed up the line to gain an advantage.

All in all, it's not a big deal. A tad douchey. Reminds me of a little kid. What it is, is extremely typical coming from the alessi's.

Read this: "Pastrana couldn't jump a triple that one other guy was, so he tore up the face so nobody could do it". Nope, wouldn't happen.

No matter how petty, or large, there is always SOMETHING questionable going on with that circus of people.

No, not at all, but I also don't like the flat out attacks on Mike Alessi without getting both sides of the story.

It happened, mikes excuse? He just rode over to check the line out, that's it. He didn't complete an entire site lap, the section was across from the first turn. I did think jimmys crew was alittle outta hand with shit talking as the race was happening, Alessi seemed to ignore it for the most part. I was also at the podium when jimmy asked Mike did he intentionally spin on the jump, that's how I know for sure that Mike rode over to the line as it came out his mouth confirming what I thought I saw. I thought it was over until I over heard Alessi was trying to fight jimmy in the pits and when jimmy came to sign up to collect his cash he confirmed that issue. FYI, my booth was between the start and podium across from sign up, was there since Friday. Will say I thought it was cool for Mike to come out Thursday and do a holeshot clinic with the kids and adults, as well as hook them up with gifts.

It's no difference to selling hub caps really. As long as people keep buying outdoor hot tubs most will get a cover for it. It's not a revolutional idea or anything but I guess it fulfills its purpose. Don't know what it have to do with moto, but at least a good thing outside sponsors still draws to our unique sport.

I've defended the Alessi's on here numerous times. I've always thought they got a bum wrap from jealous, moto fans. However, "IF" this is true, that is definitely an absolute pathetic move on Mike's part. It's hard to believe that a pro (of any sport) would intentionally try to alter something to his advantage, at an amateur event. Again "IF" this is true that that was beyond being a douche bag.
