Besides more than 2 riders?

How about the OEM's and clothing companies get more involved? Anaheim showed that they could put on a "throwback" show, and most would love it.

How about Bradshaw and Mataisevich on throwback equipment (if not the original, at least copies with correct color plastic, etc), gear companies make the throwback gear (again, been done).

Because personally, I would have rather seen this.....

to make it better.....

250 two strokes
Get Larocco, Stanton, RJ & Tortelli, Emig etc.... must be retired from pro racing at least 5 years, maybe more.
Make it a money race...

Probably more than just 2 people. I'm thinking 10 or more and money race also.

It was kinda cool when they had all the previous winners of the event out there and then open it up to who ever will show up

The bike & gear from a specific year would be awesome but I wouldn't want to ride an early 90's bike on a modern day sx track. You could get away with it at a national though.

I want larocco/mx kied in 93 gear on 93 kx 250's at Red Bud. Nothings says grudge match like teamates ghost riding bikes and taking each other out!

bradshaw was way faster. he should have slowed up and banged some bars for the crowd.

afterall it IS for the crowds entertainment.

runaways in races like this blow.
have a gentlemens agreement before the show starts. practice will show if it's an equal match or not. handicap the faster guy...something.

i was waiting for some wrestling or something after the finish line but it didn't happen.
crowd woulda went nutz.

i even thought that maybe bradshaw would wait at the finish line jump for jeff and go over together or something.

the 85's kicked ass though

it is what it is...filler

More than two riders is the only thing that will make it better. That's just MHO. I'd like to see Ward and O'mara in there.

I imagine with all the talk up to the event that those two still don't like each other. And to win big was the biggest jab Bradshaw (or Chicken) could have gotten on the other.

I would like to see the curent racers on Legendary equipment. Have a 1970's bike moto and a 1980's bike moto. I bet the racing would be closer and more fun to watch.

I think that they should have made them go to dinner together in a rental car ( ala "Days of Thunder") . You know Chicken would have pulled into the first Avis, or Budget rental car place he spots, turn to Bradshaw and say...

"Look, Since you can agree that we don't like each other, and I can agree that we both don't like each other, I think there is only one way to settle this." and then point to the rental car sign as Bradshaw says...

"Absolutely!"

As said many times. Just more riders, thats all it needs. I would love to see Dowd, Albertyn, Kiedrowski, Larocco, Emig and Mcgrath and Ryno battle again.

Read on MXA that Bayle and Stanton were supposed to be in it also, they just couldn't fit it in their schedules.

My suggestions, although already been mentioned...

• Race on two strokes. The Open track isn't that tough for two strokes...hell if the 85s are doing it...then the legends can race 250cc two strokes.
• More than 2 guys racing so there is racing throughout.
• Retro gear - just the coolness of this idea would bring up the level of the legends race.
• Money race - entice the legends.

If JMB competed, I'd probably walk out to Vegas to see that.

Other than all our injured and fallen brothers and sisters - there's nobody I'd like

to see race again (especially Mr. David Bailey) - more than the "Bayle-Man."
