My take on Jake Weimer is that he's one of the most honest guys out there...which, in his case, makes him appear that he's really hard on himself. I don't think he ever thought he'd reach the level that he has in the sport. I wonder if he thought that he'd ever be on a top 450 team, side by side, with RV & Aldon.

I kinda think he's a guy that is self-deprecating and if he never swung his leg over a bike again he'd feel like he had gotten further than he would have ever believed in the sport. The injuries have been non-stop for him and it's hard to build any momentum. Take away the injuries over the last 4 years and I think he's a solid top 7-8 guy. That's not bad behind RV, RD, JS, CR, TC, KW, DM, etc.

I hope he gets some good support and some injury free time under his belt.

Fredrik norén #39 now. He did not perform in sx however. Hopefully it was due to being on a stock 250.

I like this choice. He always shows a lot of heart. With the right equipment and leadership he could do well.

Few weeks back i was watching the start of the 2012 SX season. Weimer was really good on those first five races. Stewart took him out once and so did Dungey. Hey, it's offseason... take a look.. RD3 2012

Not 'top' riders, but I'd like to see both of these guys get more support in 2015:

Nick Schmidt
Ronnie Stewart

Both of those guys had their best years yet in 2014 by making most of the main events. With strong off season training, they should both continue to improve. It would be great to see them both get a higher level of support for 2015.

I think everyone is forgetting about Nicoletti since he was a part timer this season. He could still be a factor as well.

Both Ronnie Stewart and Robert Lind at Team Dirtcandy graphics will ride Suzukis next year, not sure on the sponsorship.

Davi Milsaps seems to have signed with Shift gear and 100% goggles.

Biggest reason most likely was the fact that it was his first real go at SX though, was it not? Hoping for some good results next year, with his MX performance he would be a good pick if he could figure the SX stuff out for sure.

Nothing about #30 ???
I was wondering the same thing. Pourcel excels at SX anyway and considering how much his injuries hinder him in motocross and him doing as well as he did this summer I had (have) high hopes he could do some damage in the 450SX class. I love watching him ride.

Does that make it 3 swedes in the us series?

It does, not sure on the recovery time on Lind. His goal is to line up at A1. More riders are planing on going over, it all comes down to contracts and injuries.

Thuresson is under contract with Honda Sweden but by my understanding he is free to race SX and then will re up his contract after. His contract is a bit hard to read in to. He's been with Honda Sweden for a couple of years, signed with Honda Germany this season to race ADAC and was filling in at 24MX in the GPs but I think the lack of results he'll be back with Honda Sweden for 2015.

He will also race Monster Energy Cup.

Damn! Your guys are really going for it! It makes it even more interesting to watch the us series next year! I'm going to try to make it to Millville or Unadilla next year, and make sure they have some fellow vikings there cheering them on

I'm pretty sure Thuresson is SX only, still two guys outdoors though. I'm planing a trip to either Budds Creek or Unadilla (or both), easiest travel route.

What happens with some Factory RIders is they get lazy , they are making good money, flying to the races , factory mechanic, everything given to them on a silver plate. The riders that do well are the one's who have NOTHING and have to work.

Bob Kiniry took all of last SX season off to get his knee fixed. He spent the summer up in Canada and had a bunch of good rides up there. If given the opportunity, dude can still get good finishes in SX for sure.

Does Decotis have a ride?

I hope Cunningham can find a home. He's got some fight left in him still.

The top rider without a ride has to be CP377.

Is there a faster rider, both indoors and out that doesn't have a ride?
