Nice thought.... KTM should kiss his ass for backing up Herlings and winning on the KTM.

This makes herlings only stronger for the future.
A real beast when he's 100% fit again.

Tixier and Herlings are both champions

They (KTM) have to be there for both Jeffrey and Tixier, and i think it must be mixed feelings, with one rider loosing out with only 4 points and another winning. It must be an awkward situation.. I think it would have ben to if Herling had won and Tixier had crashed out..

Wow! Honestly we as fans couldn't have been treated to a better nail biter considering the situation going into that last moto - which should've been fairly easy for Jordi. Spectacular stuff. Very happy for Jordi, well deserved! Unbelievable effort from Jeffrey too. Both guys rode their hearts out. Just an awesome final end to the title.

Yes! lol Herlings was unbelievable but Tixier pulled it off under immense pressure too. Shame one had to lose today. One of the best races I've seen, so nerve wrecking!

The World MX2 Champion won't be at the MXDN - not good.

Monster money / influence at play. It really would present no 'financial' burdon to the French Federation for Tixier to be put in at this later date - KTM would have No problem with supporting him at the MXDN. But, I guess the Federation might lose a bit of Monster money - oops, there I go, getting into 'conspiracy' territory, myself Woohoo ...........Silly

Can't believe I have passed a world champion. (Tixier crashed on the down side of a jump last year just after passing me).

I'd say so - get back to healing, Who knows, with medical methods now, he may be able to have the rod etc taken out, in time for him not to have to carry the dangerous damned thing(s) into next season.

But, of course, you get US 'fans' wanting / demanding a Motocrosser, to show up at a meaningless SX race. Leave it to those who do it - SX - for a living, boys. Are these same 'fans' going to 'demand' that RV does the MEC? F.F.S.

Good last MXGP Moto, going on now.

Before breaking his femur he told me he was going to get his early-season injured shoulder done after MXDN.

So he still has that surgery in front of him.

Pretty tough times for the phenomenal dutch rider...

Such a big relief that he (apparently) finished the week-end without injuring the leg any further !

Watch out (even more) for him in the future.

He'll be back, and (even more) angry.

No doubt, glad He didn't get hurt worse. To me it was a Heroic try but kind of stupid.

If, say, Tonkov stays a few more seconds stuck in Tixier's real wheel (aouch!), or if Tixier's mid-air collision with Seewer ends out badly, Herlings is world champion.

So it's a risky,but not stupid decision.

It was that close to pay off.

it is his decision to stay in mx2. nobody needs to "let" him do anything.

If he got hurt again at this event, there would have to be some serious questions about the decisions that Everts is making.

They've got a bit of a habit of "going the perv" on riders partners (and ladies in the crowd) with MXGPTV. Though, it's the same for all sports persons partners, I guess.

2nd MXGP moto, they kept going to Jill Cox and then Paulins' GF, with both having kittens whilst watching their men battle each other. Paulins' GF kept moving a bit, trying to evade the camera, and it looked like Jill was getting a bit 'tired' of the attention - they are watching monitors, so they see the feed. .I've got to have natter with Ms Cox at a few GPs and MXDNs - she's a very, very nice young lady, that has time for anyone. I hope AC marries her, soon.

In meaningless is that just ass burn because it has more spectators in person and on tv than any euro round?

Or it has actual race purse someone could buy a house, truck, car ,new furniture , and all new clothes and still have 400k left compared to your payouts?

Is it a circus because only americans won it so far?

Is it a circus because we don't have trouble filling the field like the gp series does?

congrads JT911, although I think anyone who win a championship deserves it and he does . I am finding it very hard to think of a poorer world champion ,in years and year s ,, can anyone think or a year where the champion is probably the 5th or 6th fastest rider that year . still congrads to him not his fault everyone got injured and other things .who ever wins at the end deserves it
