I don't care if he ever races again. I enjoy just watching him ride. Smoother than butter.

I neither hate Josh nor am a fanboy. I am just a fan of good racing. He used to be fast. I don't think he has had any injuries that would prevent him from being fast again. He is not too old to still ride fast.

He was riding awesome in 2011 before he broke his hand I believe it was. He was on the podium 4 out of the first 5 races, winning 3 of them.

Here are his results from 2011 SX:
1st
1st
5th
2nd
1st
6th
6th
13th
10th

If he can get back to doing whatever he was doing then, and get a good bike, then it is seems like it should be very possible for him to podium in 2015.
Why you got to go ruin the conversation with level headed thinking, facts and common sense?

lol !!!!

So many things are changing for your list of riders...teams, brands, classes...but...beyond all that...

If Josh stays focused and committed to racing? GTF outta his way. Ask Hart, he'll tell ya the same damn thing.

For those of you that have some sort of issue with a riders age...or what class he's racing in? Tell us "why"? Is there some age-rule, class intent or revision to the point system that we don't know about? Do you have ANY IDEA that these guys are HIRED to ride a SPECIFIC CLASS...even tho MANY OF THEM WANT TO MOVE TO 450...?

Let it go. You look like a complete ass when you spew that shit and you truly don't know WTF you're talking about.

I am not a fan of really cool people cause I am very insecure.. But when Hanny is on the track he rides like the late 70's early 80's guys. Like men. He takes what he wants and makes no excuses. He will plow his way to the front. Can't wait.

GO SEELY!!!

I'm assuming the gear he signed for me is in the mail? Come on Jarid, bro, don't let me down..........

if he rocks up to the races I can see it happening, there's no way he has lost any natural skill, he is plenty quick enough for the 250 class BUT I don't see his banging techniques going unnoticed if he pops at Martin/Webb/Hill etc - I can see him getting a raw deal pretty early on if he tries that shit again with the youth of today

i hope we see the racer 100 show up and not the other 100 - good luck to him.

Hoping Hanny kills it this year, but shitting on other riders to make a point is lame. That was a painful read. Kept hoping for something witty or funny, but it never happened.

When was the last time a 30 year old landed on the podium regularly? And what is the average age of the dudes on the podium. Hell, JS7 is pretty fucking fast and has been struggling with hitting the podium and I don't believe he is 30 quite yet.

Not knocking any of the guys but for some reason, the series favor the younger 20 year old guys. I like to believe that a 26+ year old guy can go out, put in an efficient top level effort, but there's not many that have done it and not many doing it regularly.

I'd love to see any of the "retirement age riders" get out there and go out on top but we don't get many RC stories in this sport.

I believe Hanny is a valuable rider when he's not on the podium. And I'd love to see him on the podium either way.

I'm a big fan of people, "coming up and over coming" after falling from grace.

I hope hanny comes out and kills it. I'm so jealous of his talent and speed. I really like that he's called himself out on his own BS and is now out to show what he can do.

He will be the guy I root for this year in SX.

Along with Scott champion, style for fucking daaaayyssssss

Am I missing something here?

I thought the 100 is going to be on a 450 for 2015, deal is done and on his own Kawasaki?

For your Jason Anderson comment, he was injured at the end of Sx and hurt himself at Glen Helen, not too mention he is one of the bigger riders in the 250 class... jason will be a top 10 guy in the 450 class.

Hanny's only challenge will be his fitness. All the top guys now are super fit and conditioned. Not just one or two guys now but like 4 to 6 guys. Hope he prepares.

I say Hanny wins 2 races, and top 5's all but 1 with some podiums in the mix.

At PIR he rode his XGames step up bike so trying to base where he is off of that is not even a fair comparison. I am sure on his SX race bike he will be good to go. We all know he is the most talented rider out there, he just has to have his head in the game and he will be just fine.

Ya never know what can happen especially in dirt bike racing.

Not many people called Chad Reed's success when he started his own program - most people wrote him off!

Hanny might get his ass handed to him or he might step up and be a contender in the night show.

Here is the thing about Hanny and why I give him a pass on his past fuck ups - he's not afraid to come clean and be honest with the media about jeopardizing his career via his poor choices and bad judgment. Good for not hiding the truth and making lame excuses.

Question - what if Lil Hanny's Mother didn't bail on him when he was a young kid? would his life turned out any different?

He can do any rhythm on that track and has speed in the whoops. That's the recipe for a podium right there.

Judging purely by what I saw at PIR, he has LONG way to go.
He had bike problems that whole night. It wasn't worth having his bike cut out in a bad spot and getting hurt. So instead of packing it in he stayed out and rode around because he was still having fun. Come out to the test tracks and watch him, what you "saw" will change in a hurry...

He's out there giving it a shot. Kudos to him. How about we wait and see how he does...and at more than one race, before grandstanding?

The first post was indeed painful to read. Hanny will do well this year. He's in a different place both mentally and physically. He's really committed to it this year. From people that I know that have seen him ride, not on YouTube, he's as fast as he's ever been. He is getting his motors built by factory Kawi and has some good support behind him. He'll be 250 west coast and some 450 east coast rounds. I have faith in him as long as he stays motivated.
