Does anyone have a photo of Tomac and Canard drag racing down the the mechanics straight at Unadilla? With the way the sport has evolved and people "jaded" by how incredible these rider are, its hard to get surprised anymore. That pass was so cool to see with the front wheel up. Reminds me of the old days how rider were just full out.

Too bad that pass didn't stick because Tomac sat on the rear wheel and never let off. That was some incredible style for sure. Canard just wasn't going to be denied that day.

Canard is fucking dirty for a few moments right after someone passes him.

canard is definitely not dirty. i'll agree he is a rider to watch right after he gets passed BECAUSE he will try his hardest to pass back. does he try to step it up and muscle is way back around someone, yes. but dirty riding after getting passed would be cutting a corner, ramming someone, ect thats obviously faster than you and your goal is just to try and take them out.
he tries to muscle his way back in and thats some awesome aggressive riding on his part. just like he did to metcalfe, saw an opening and muscled his way in there and blocked him into the corner, no way was that dirty.

He's a racer....if anyone passed rc or stew and didn't pull a gap in the next turn or straight would mostly likely had a front tire running over there foot or arm trying to do anything to get them back immediately.

Yep. Goes full Ginger crazy each time he gets passed.

If he wasn't a christian I'd love to hear inside Trey's helmet after he is passed. haha

Is that based on racing against him? Or what you see on HD?

I think it was a figure of speech.

As in, damn he goes diiirrrtyyy for the next couple of corners!

Maybe I'm off, but it did come from "Dirty Mike"

He certainly fights the hardest after he gets passed. I don't think I've seen someone make a pass right back as many times as I have Canard. It's interesting that he can get passed, then immediately pass that person back and make it stick. . . Usually when a pass is made, it's because someone is faster but not when it's Canard.

I think someone is just a wee bit upset that Trey made his BEAST rider look like an amateur. At the end of the
race tomac dropped faster than a prom dress.....Smile

That's exactly what I'm talking about. How many times this season has something happened to make people react like that. When they race they make it look easy.

I'm pretty sure he means it as Canard goes beast mode when he gets passed and a majority of the time, he passes them right back. I don't think he means dirty as in he's turns into a dirty rider and knocks people down. That's how I read it at least.

Kids these days be using words all crazy.

Evidently Trey gets a pass from everyone either because he such a seemingly good guy or the tough times he has been through. I have seen him on plenty of occasions get a little wild right after being passed and do some crazy stuff. Doesn't make him a bad guy or racer but he seems to get away with the "aw shucks" defense imho. And yeah Tomac looked like he was gonna break the throttle cable!

I hit rewind and made my girlfriend watch that pass!

Canard definitely fights for it. Earlier in the season it was often a fight in vain, Dungey and Roczen and sometimes Stewart had more speed so Canard would fight but not for long. Not in moto 2 at Unadilla though! His bike looked better than any other race for sure, musta been the new legs...

Tomac did drop but honestly i dont blame him, he doesnt really have anything to race for. He has his moto wins and overall this year. I want him to stay healthy for the rest of the year. Maybe he actually had it in the back of his mind to get between Dungey and Roczen to be the spoiler Wink

I just had to watch it again, that was friggen sweet!

Metcalfs pass in Brayton on the first lap of moto 2 was pretty sweet too, he landed off the little double on the rear wheel and just held it wide open all the way up never letting the front wheel down!!!

And yet Canard still doesn't have an overall like Tomac, who came into the series injured.

Canard has been out there all season running with the top guys and busting his butt. Tomac walks in
half way through the season fresh as a daisy and with nothing to lose. Wait and see when they are on
the same page what happens. Trey will own the beast rider...lol.

I believe both Canard and Tomac have the most upside in the 450F class. Tomac's fastest lap at Dilla is mind boggling. Canard was on rails - his pass on the bottom of "Screw You" was genius. Love seeing these young riders rock it.

Old school Tomac?

Unadilla is very conducive to taking beautiful action shots. Guyb knocked it out of the park with that pic of noren (I think) on the gas with rocks and soil surrounding him in a cloud of action. Great, great photos, Guyb!
