That's a solid team for sure. I don't think we could have gone wrong with the three 450 options we had. Martin was a no brainer on the 250. I'm looking forward to some great racing.

Excellent team! But I'm gutted that Herlings and Desalle won't be able to attend, and that France made such dumb MXdN choices when they had Pourcel the younger and Musquin to choose from. Carioli needs to get back on his trusty 350, too.

Pretty unbeatable,Paulin,Van Horbeek and Strijbos should give some problems, maybe Nagl too but nobody had 3 strong riders

France should've gone with Tixier looking back now,Pourcel wasn't an option and Musquin has done poorly every time he's raced back here

MX2 don't have any of the top 3 in the whole championship at the event, shame we cant see them go up against Martin

About your first sentence am I supposed to gasp for air and say oh my goodness I didn't realize this? As for your second sentence, if you knew so much about Roger choosing the team every year then you would know us mere mortals don't
get a chance to chose the teams...simply stupid to ask such a question.

If I have an issue with RD its because of him not giving Trey a chance to be on the MXoN team...nothing less nothing more.
If you have an issue with that then I wish I could prescribe you something for the pain but alas, I'm not a Dr. either.

Honestly... either Eli or Trey, on their current form it doesn't make all that much difference. Both are easily capable of storming performances. Between the two I would've chosen ET also. He wasn't as fast as TC at Unadilla but the Latvian circuit won't be like Unadilla anyway - but rather more like a Southwick or a Millville etc. And we all know how good Eli is round there. But as I said, it's a decision that's impossible to really get wrong either way.

France are a threat but that's about it really, maybe Belgium too. But once again they're lacking their best possible line up. Musquin is a fantastic rider of course but I don't see him as the holy grail of choices that simply can't be left out in the way some others here do. I don't think it's clearly obvious that he'd do any better than either Ferrandis or Tixier.

Its a shame there will be so many top riders missing from the event this year- none of the top 3 in the mx2 world championship will be there, no herlings, no roczen, no desalle, no pourcel, no musquin, no tixier, no big ken!

It will be interesting to see how cairoli does on the 250f.

Agree with the other posts about trey/ eli- either would be a great choice, they are both riding well at the minute!

KDD is injured, now the team Belgium is Stijbos, JVH and Lieber.

Fingers crossed with the French team since both Frossard and Ferrandis are capable of the best ... and the worst; that is a pretty wild choice, I hope we have 5 good finishes at the end of the day !

To me Trey and TC are both good choices. They are both pretty even.

WIth no Herlings, RV, Musquin, CP, Desalle attending and TC on a 250f there will be a lot left to be deisred with this race. Oh well.. GO USA!

Oh yeah. If martin beats TC on the 250s lol! Isn't TC's usual bike so it could happen...

I rode a 350 a few times and it is a lot more like a 250 to ride than a 450 so he should be good to go.

So I guess Germany and Belgium need asterisks for their MXdN overalls the last two years because RV wasn't competing, huh?

There's NO such thing as an asterisk in a race win, overall, or a title. You race who's there, you beat them, and if other guys can't make it due to injury; they missed out on step one in being in the conversation- lining up to the gate Wink

kens having surgery on his injured wrist (its been injured all season) said it on the podium at lommel gp

Seems like a strange pick to take Tomac over Canard. Canard is as fast and has a lot more experience on the big bike.

Of course Trey understands it. Tomac's a beast!. (Not a Tomac fan here but have much respect)
