It is tough when our moto brothers get hurt but for me it is even worse when a woman or a kid gets injured.

Best wishes Kaitlyn!

I was standing in front of the hump. Looked as if she got a little help into the tree. I couldn't see what happened on the other side.

I've been hearing/seeing Tricker gave her some help into the tree.

It's on MXPTV.com They weren't going very fast, but they did run out of room where the two lines came together in the inside hump. Kaitlyn clips the hail bail, loses her balance and falls, and the girl right behind her runs her leg over, which was a terrible accident... I hope Kaitlyn has a full and speedy recovery and gets another crack at this title next year.

Tree has been there ever since we changed the track and took it back into the woods, and it has not been a problem. It could have just as easily been a yellow corner barrier, or a stack of tires, or green mesh fencing... These things happen when people race motorcycles together, and we do all we can to remove any hazards and protect the riders, while keeping it a motocross track.

I was there this week and all the trees anywhere close to the track had hay bails in front of them for safety. I left Friday afternoon after my friend raced so I must have missed this. She was hauling for sure. Get well soon and prayers sent.

Oh and if there was some outside assistance to your demise, remember karma is a bitch.

Hope the recovery goes well Kaitlyn. I'll be praying for you.

My son used to race against, and get beaten by, Kaitlyn on a regular basis. She showed up at a series race at Cycle Ranch but had not been racing the series. After whipping the boys all race she pulled off the track just before the finish line so she wouldn't interfere with the points for the series regulars. That spoke volumes about her character!
