With Martin and Cooper in first and second respectively. They seem to, atleast have an inner war between the two. Langston talked about it a lot during moto 2 of the broadcast, how important it is to be the number 1 guy in the truck between race weekends. Over the years, how many team rivals went on during the races. I'm not talking about a winner vs his 10th place teammate. I'm talking consistent winning teammates who couldn't stand each other because of egos and money. Since we were at Reddd Buddd, I'll start off by leading off with Larocco vs Kadrowski "94" with the Infamous bike ghosting incident.
Anyone else have any good stories of legit teammate knockdown drag out stories?

Hannah/Glover and Bailey/Johnson are two of the bigger ones I can think of.

ETA: Reading really is fundamental...I guess those two weren't really knock down drag out fights, but they were pretty good rivalries between teammates.

Wilson and Baggett werent best mates during Wilsons championship year, seem to remember some cross jumping and tempers that had to be calmed down by Mitch at one point.

I know a lot of this has been written about. I was wondering if people could add there stories of the way they viewed the rivalries and if they saw anything first had at any races. I was to young to watch Hannah/Glover or Bailey/Johnson, but I would love to read any post about them if anyone has any. From what I've seen and read about Hannah, I would of loved to seen him race people first hand.

This was an epic season. I told the crowd of drunk British fans at the 2007 MXdN at Budds that Villopoto had been sharpening his blade all season against the Ben Townley stone, and that they just might be in for a bit of a surprise from him.

I was right.

At first, I thought Stanton and Bayle. Then, someone else posted MXKied and LaRocket...... Unless there is an instance where actual blood was spilt, they cap the stack.

I will always look back at that series as one of my favorites; just hard, wide open full moto assault by both yet clean and respectful.

So you think you have to hate someone to be rivals? They would make bets and the loser would have to sleep in the dog house.Yes,they were roommates and friends.

i went to the final round that year, and watched both of them walk back from the riders meeting, they were joking and laughing with each other, it was an awesome display of sportsmanship from them both,

I remember them battling in spring creek that year (07) probably the best live battle I've seen. That same day was RC's 150th win and last outdoor national. It was also Trey Canard and Nico Izzi's first pro races. It was a good day.

Matthes has written some cool stories about Reed, RedDog and DV at Yamaha. They might have been the last super team in AMA?

RC and Tortelli were at Suzuki together but Seb seemed to be constantly coming back from something then...

Dunno, the 2011 PC team was pretty hectic

Larocco and Kiedrowski by far then Stanton and Bayle.

Larocco and Kied had to be separated three different times in the pits and Larocco smashed into Kied after the race once knocking him down after Kied knocked him down during the race.

Stanton and Bayle weren't a rivalry like that, thry just really disliked each other. Bayle about pulled over for Bradshaw so he could win.

Stanton and RJ wasn't a rivalry at all, they were buddies. Plus RJ beat him regularly until he wrecked his wrist.

I thought it was the other way around with Kiedrowski ghosting his bike into Mike after the moto.

They weren't really rivals though. RJ was dominant until he broke his wrist then Stanton took over from there.
