That being said, these are just my experiences. I'm not suggesting that anyone should go out and find Xanax and rip motos. It could have a different effect on you than it did on me.
I am not trying to brag or be arrogant but I have the speed to run with these guys, I ride with some privateers that have broken top 20 before and can pull away from them at times. (I was Talented, but didnt have the work ethic as a kid. Lots of regrets.
I am VERY confident that if I, or one of these riders took adderall before going out there and had similar affects as to what i felt, that they would see a drop in lap times. The amount of focus you get is unreal. You would adapt to lines quicker, think further ahead on the track for passes. ect.
Adderall makes it hard to break concentration from the subject you focused on, and what could be better than that in a race? Nailing lines every lap if your out front, thinking ahead to make passes if you come from behind, or even protecting all the potential pass spots if you know someone is trying to get by.
All that was just about the focus aspect of it. Then theres the energy which would be awesome for the race, but having the major drawback of potentially killing you with a heart attack bc of the heart rates these guys are pumping for 30 min straight

Seriously I know in the amateur ranks over the last five to eight years Adderall is no uncommon but that's to be expected given the way doctors over prescribe drugs these days.
Adderall (or Ritalin, or any other amphetamine analog)......GOOD for SX/MX. As I said elsewhere. this is a drug that will decrease reaction time, improve focus and improve hand-eye coordination. It would be a prime med for race day/night performance enhancement.
Xanax.........BAD for SX/MX. Essentially the opposite physiologic effect of amphetamine.
Narcotics..........BAD for SX/MX. See Xanax above.
Beta blockers..........BAD for SX/MX. Won't allow the necessary increase in HR to give the body the cardiac output it desires.

Side Effects Symptoms
Before you decide to take an attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder treatment drug, such as Adderall, consider its common side effects including:
• Lack of appetite
• Headache
• Inability to fall asleep and stay asleep
• Dry Mouth
• Abdominal Pain and Discomfort
• Weight Loss
• Restlessness
If you already suffer from gastrointestinal problems, congenital heart defects or thyroid problems, Adderall prescription medication could interfere with your treatment plan for an underlying illness. Not all patients react the same to Adderall, so your doctor will follow you closely with frequent check-ups and routine medical exams.
Hazardous Side Effects
While most patients can tolerate low dosages of Adderall prescription medicine with minimal problems, there are some dangerous or hazardous side effects you should discuss with your doctor before starting a treatment plan. Some hazardous side effects include:
• Dangerous increase in blood pressure
• Tachycardia or a high pulse rate
• Irregular heart rate
• Difficulty breathing
• Chest pain
• Allergic reaction that includes swelling and redness in the eyes or throat
• Migraine headaches
• Syncope or losing consciousness
• Blurry or double vision
• Seizure activity and excessive and uncontrollable shaking
• Extreme nervousness and paranoid delusions
• Mood swings that include hostility and severe aggression
• Depression
I believe and declare that's just another example of there being no easy way in motocross. There's no substitute for hard work and dedication. And now that I'm getting older (60) I can honestly add: there's no substitute for youth!

Thanks to the OP...very interesting post.
It's another way for the city to get money out of ya. Send you to a bunch of classes & evaluate you like your a junkie. C'mon judge-bro, I only had 3 beers & drove home. I'm not a crackhead. I would've made it home safely to if I didn't get pulled over.
Let's just go join the lynch mob in the other thread. That seems so much more productive.
