It's so damn lame. They need to bring an original competition to the x games for mx. I love the idea of the side by side straightway competition we seen floating around internet few months ago. Just a straight line.

I don't think the Xgames will be around in a few years, I think it has run its course. Anyone remember the shy surfing or the bungee jumping of the original games Blush

Something like the Red Bull Straight Rhythm track would be awesome. Get some big name guys to show up and show the masses what true moto skills look like, as opposed to the OMG TOTALLY AWESOME BACKFLIPZ HART ATTACK OMGGGGG shit they have now.

It's funny you guys saying X Games has run its course and is about to die out. This was by far the largest crowd I've seen at X and it's only Friday. There were probably 60k people there today. Tomorrow should be crazy. As for best whip, Parsons is who should have won so at least that part was correct.

If xgames didn't make such a joke of it it would be awesome! Parsons and Bamberg put on a heck of a show though, how they ended up on opposite ends of the vote I have no idea. The X Games are all about trying to build franchise names, and events where they can cross over. That includes women.

I like more the speed & style.

It is the only bad thing brought by JS7: now everyone tries to scrub, which leaves no place or time for good nac nacs, can cans, candy bars, 1 handed whips etc, good things for the public.

I remember in France someone like that, one the freestyle pioneers. He owns a mx school now and is such a cool dude that you must not come to France without visiting him (crossup, Olivier Nitard), I guarantee you will spend your best holidays ever. Back in 1993-1995, you could see his bike flat everywhere or doing all kind of tricks WHILE RACING, he was only top 10 but all the public was cheering for him. It was super fun to watch, for instance I remember him while battling for position, a rider & him came a little too close in the air, and he just touched with his left hand the leg of the other rider to say "hey, what is up?" !!!

The whips are amazing but they go so fast and so close together. Maybe like Guyb said it needs actual judging not fan vote.

I grew up on a diet of xgames and everything labeled extreme sports. They have all changed alot since the late 90's. Went more underground it seems

While it is cool to see more moto featured now days, i would rather it go back to the way it was. Really hope it does not fade away completely!

Yeah, a lot of the events are like that. I fast forward through many of the events. I hate the skateboard trick one on the step rail.

I can't stand enduro. I think it's so stupid riding through rocks and wood. I just don't get it.

I love, love the big air skateboard and bmx. Also, love the half pipes. Moto freestyle is ok. Never really did much for me as far as entertainment but it's flat out amazing that they can do that on a dirtbike.

Don't care for rallycross much. Mostly love the BMX stuff and most of the skateboarding. For someone that rode skateboards for a few years when I was younger I have so much respect for those guys. I rode pretty much everyday for years and could never do a fraction of what they do and it wasn't for a lack of trying. It's just so difficult.
