I mean damn..... Treys bike looks so much better than Barcia's. The front end is much stiffer on Treys compared to Barcia's and in return it doesn't look so skidish. Barcia's bike looks dead in breaking chop to me, what do you guys think?

I think treys style gels better with the new generation honda.its obvious with barcia goin to jgr he doesn't get along with the new bike vs the '12

Trey is just a smooth styled stud who has had too many injuries to reach his potential in his career up until this point. Here's to hoping he has some good luck for once and has a chance to show what he can do in a full season or two

I can't imagine why you would think that their bikes should be set up the same way. Canard is and always has been a smoother and faster rider than Barcia. I'll admit that Bam Bam gets way more attention/camera time but Canard is the
man.

The only thing that surprises me is that one rider has obviously found the trick to getting that chassis to perform. Usually two factory team members bikes don't have that radically different of a bike appearance and stance. They usually look congruent to the eye as far a chassis set up goes. Barcia does a great job making that chasis look poor, Canard makes it look like a Kawi.

Barcia has to be one of the most fit guys out there. Between his bike bouncing around and him tossing it around like his bitch all the time. He's definetley working the thing

I always thought of Canard as a much stronger outdoor rider than Barcia. I still think Barcia can run quicker lap times but he didn't seem to have found a good flow with that track. Even in his 250f days it sometimes took 2-3 laps before he found his speed. What Canard did yesterday coming thru the pack was reminiscent of his 250f days.

Barcia's set up is clearly way off. But I think there is more to it than that. It seems like Barcia is overriding the bike, like he is still on a 250. A 450 obviously requires more finnesse than a 250. It looked like he was just too banzai, blowing turns and missing his lines, probably death revving and upsetting the chassis in the process. Remember the old saying: "slow down to go fast"?

Canard is a very faithful guy. He has faith in that Honda.....Barcia does not is my guess.

You wanna see reckless.....just watch James the firs few laps.........dude about ate shit a 1/2 dozen times. So much that GL thought he had suspension problems haha. It miraculously cured itself when James started finding smoother lines.

Absolutely, look at the way RV, Roczen, TC, etc ride, they rider a gear higher and go quick around the corners, Barcia is point and shoot guy and always hitting the rev limiter

Didn't I read in MXA or something that Honda is kind of pissed at Barcia for not even talking to them before he went shopping for a ride next year, especially after Honda has supported him since he was a mini rider?

I guess when he starts floundering on the Yamaha because he's riding it like he always has he'll say it sucks too.

Did notice same thing about Barcia and maybe even James bike. Kennys KTM looked really soft and low on rear and worked good when he came downhill with barking bumbs. Does Honda Team still run SSFAir without 3rd chamber like in supecross or they using same as others?

I think it seems like its the rear that isnt setup very well rather than the front....
