I would have to say that this was the best that bike has looked at that kind of pace in a long time. My question is, What kind of horse power is that thing putting out?

I don't know if the bike is making more HP than any of the other top level bikes, but it sure was set up damn close to perfection. JG was on rails.

The KTM's and Yamaha's start with more on a production level than anyone else. That makes life easier for teams to make fast race bikes. The stock Honda has 51 versus 58 for KTM and Yamaha.. That's a huge gap.

I thought RC's RM250 from. '05 was making over 60hp. I'd think these 450's were making more than that. Of course what the hell do I know.

Is that why a certain rider is not favoring the Honda? Or is that more suspension related?

And what do you know about the RCH engine's HP? Seemed like those guys struggled with starts. Is it HP related?

its not just jgr all the new yamahas pulled great starts the 250s and 450s. may not be making anymore hp then competition but there bike setups and gearing is getting that power to the ground. now that the yams are doing good its going to be funny how many people will want one

I respectfully disagree... Look how much Honda has struggled with their new frames and Pro riders. Some I know bought a Kawi 450 instead.
