Pretty good news, wouldn't be surprised to see him around the top 5-7 first up.

Another note Crush, what's your thoughts on Motoonline this year? Seems a bit vanilla and hardly groundbreaking, like its a bit toned down and bland. Not as informative as it used to be.

YEAH Townley!!! I will never forget the season he and Villopoto went at it like absolute beasts.

Not gonna lie bud I don't spend loads of time on there... Seems about the same to me I guess but I'm no authority on their content.

As annoying as they are I kinda find the MX Nationals media releases a pretty good source of Aussie MX info... They usually round things up and spread the love pretty well.

I also kinda think the Aussie MX journos are nuts. I don't know how much is in it dollar wise, but it can't be heaps and I do know this is a fuckoff big country to cover for how much racing there is and how far apart they are!

Crush I should show you my TAX statement from last year, nuts is not the word lol, I like to say passionate haha.

Looking forward to seeing Townley in action on Sunday, should add to the mix quite nicely and I am not ruling out some very good results, someone like Townley does not forget how to ride and all as it going to take is for another rider to bang bars with him early in a race and get him fired up and we could see a surprise round winner Smile

He looked OK at our club day last month. I believe he has been enjoying life as a manager though so maybe the stamina might lack a bit. Who knows though, hes a competitive bugger. Top man for stepping up for the team.

Would not surprise me Scott, he would have been doing a little training, he was already planning on racing Manjimup the following weekend anyway. Seen him last weekend and he still looks fit, though that beard may slow him down.

This weekends race should be epic, a lot of good sand riders in Aus, most of the Vic boys (Monea / Mosig / Martin) have always been strong in sand and had access to sand tracks.

Gibbs grew up in Mount Gambier surrounded by sand. The Moss boys are good in the soft stuff, Billy with his Euro experience, Marmont could surprise this weekend and keep an eye out for Brock Winston this weekend, those Queenslanders have some great soft sand training tracks.

3 x 20 minute moto's as well, expecting a lot of mixed results all day.

Crush after working most weekends, I try to keep Wednesday arvo's free, just lucky my local track is open most wednesday's Smile

Awesome news! Always liked watching him, just seemed like a pitbull that would put his head down and push and push....

I remember seeing him at MXDN '07 at Budd's Creek after he pulled out. He was strolling around in the camping section and took a piss on my buddy's truck tire. Should've gotten it bronzed... Ha.

Wanneroo isn't exactly the easiest track to make a comeback on, I hope he survives without another injury

Dont know if Id say best but I thought that season was pretty cool too. Two very serious, competitive individuals giving everything they had on the track to beat eachother.

No off the track crap. No personalities or trash talking. Everything was on the track and intense and businesslike.

Hope Ben has fun this weekend.

BT is the only rider that could pace RV in the outdoors. Hope he still has it. Awesome dude.
