My buddy still rides a 2001 YZF426 as well. He bought it brand new. Bone stock to this day. The bike may be a tank but it is a work horse without question.

I've been taking the old 01 500 to the track during the hillclimb offseason while the zuke gets rebuilt, lots of fun out there!

I ride an 06 RM250 with ZERO plans on ever selling it, ill just keep picking up 2 strokes (new to me) although id really like to have a new yz250 as im not a fan of the ktm but the RM is hands down the best dirtbike ive ever ridden

I sold my 08 KTM 250XC this past Fall, so the unwashed from my last ride 83 Husky 430 is my main ride now...I was going to by a new 2014 Husky 300 TE, but ended buying my wife a new car for her birthday...I love riding this damn bike.


Below are pics of my 78 KTM 400 MC5/GS and my 77 Maico 400 GS...Very, very fresh and strong motors and great handling bikes...I've got five more old school big bore 2 strokes waiting in the wings...just waiting to get ridden

My son races a '04 cr 250 we picked up this year with 5 hrs on it Had factory connection do the suspension and upgraded the brakes. Racing it in 2 stroke B/C. This is him in the photo with me behind him at a race earlier this year at NCMP. (He was passing me!). I am on his '10 CRF 250r.

I do, 2003 kx 250. Still in good shape and does what I need for the occasional practice day, trail's, and private tracks. Not sure how much faster I would be on a new bike anyhow.

97 RM250 here. I was fortunate enough to trade an excellent 02 kdx200 for it and its a damned nice bike. Runs strong, I rebuilt both suspenion ends, put new tired and cables on, repacked silencer/rejetted, and I ride a couple of hard hours every day. Im happy with my old ride Smile
