Shining a laser at an aircraft is a federal offence about everywhere, the laser directed towards the riders was definitely a big deal.
The lies and bullcrap after was just icing on a stupid cake.
Lets all just move on and enjoy what racing will be coming up eh?
Just stating you're opinion is well out of line with what actually happened or how it really is. I don't think he needs to be further persecuted, nor was I. I also don't think it'd make a difference.
People on here are such F-tards. Even if you don't like him and know moto you'd realize he's one of the best MX/SX riders in the world. Top 1% in the world. But he sucks....MORONS!
What do you know about any of this ?
I thought your keyboard was broken.
Pit Row
How can anyone not respect a dude that came back after that 2008 Red Bud Crash? Dude is the all time hole shot master and before Grant took him him could have won the 2009 title. He had the speed for sure.
I just wish he could get his head straight for outdoors.
I read that Jeff also came on here saying RC used roids, without any evidence, of course. I don't understand why he brought it up in the first place because his brother was highly suspect in 2009.
As for lasergate, even right when it happened I didn't see it as real malicious cheating, more like an extremely dumb move from someone who's not too bright and thought it would be funny. I think most of us have done something analogous, it's just that most of us were 10 at the time, like throwing rocks at cars or other general dickhead kid stuff. The stuff that came after reminded me concretely of when I was 10 and did something stupid, and then tried every excuse and denial that popped into my stupid 10 year old brain to get out of it. Better to be stupid than a cheater, one is a condition, the other is a choice. There's no question in my mind that motocross racing, at the level the Allessi family did it, can stunt education and development if the parents are not vigilant about it. So, if Jeff learned his lesson from lasergate, I don't see why he shouldn't be forgiven. You can't expect kids to be elite athletes at 16, and not have some catching up to do in other areas.
