Will he come back?
How will he do if he takes it very serious?

I'm asking cause I was a fan of his and his dad, and I would like to see him come back and do well. The guy has incredible talent, and its a bummer to see him not achieve what he was capable of.

We know he hasn't made great decisions, but it would be cool if we could get some opinions without taking shots at the guy.

Good luck to Josh whatever he decides.

Now that he has waited long enough , He can come back and try again to beat the kids.

Not sure the kids are going to be keen on that.

He has about zero chance to do well if he rode the nationals, might do OK in the SX series but no threat to win. That ship has sailed.

Here's a thought, what if moto XXX hired Hanson, and Hill for a startup team for next season. Wouldn't need to pay them, just give them bikes, wrenches, and transportation to the races. Could work couldn't it. Their individual sponsors could cover their salary. Well, as mentioned in the Hill thread, throw Jlaw in their too. Something to think about.

I think he's just riding staying involved in the sport and seems content with that.

Its not that Hansen couldn't do well in nationals. ........He just never wanted to put in the work, he has been pretty honest and open about that in the past.

I was a Hansen fan, until at A1when he punted Alex Ray in the last corner of a long since ended race (LCQ I think). They were just putting up to the line, had no previous contact, and Ray was injured in the incident. Fuck that guy in his ear, inexcusable. Once the race is over, I see that the same as clubbing someone's knees in the parking lot, which would warrant a lifetime ban. Good riddance.

I agree with that. While never a fan of his I was neutral on him. After that he is a low life.

He was very open and honest in that interview for a change. I bought it, he was real there.

He needed the pulpmx show platform to tell his story. People want to like him and it would be cool to see him comeback with some success. Glad he and Steve could do that interview.

To me age isn't the factor. It's years racing pro, plus dropping back a class. If this was one of Dowd's first 3 years in 250 or he never did well in the 450 class, then cool. If not, then it's sandbagging, and not cool.

I know he's a legend and has my respect. I'm simply not a fan of riders moving back down the 125/250f class.

i seen him at seattle sx under the tedder tent. had to call him over to shake his hand. i got to meet him and tell him i am a huge fan. was very nice! got a picture with him. asked him if he is racing next year and what coast, stated he was planning on it but does not know what coast. makes me think 250. but either way it was good to see him in seattle. i hope to see him racing soon!
