Picked up this KX 250 last year and have been fixing her up over the winter up here in Ontario. Thought I'd share some pics!

Tried to match stock colours, but powder coating options were limited; a shade of grey.

my 05 ran great,loved the look too. just had some quality issues,silly stuff breaking. kickstarter snapped 2nd time i rode it. i had the monster graphics with black frame. keep the pics coming.

I highly recommend getting a set of Applied 21.5 mm offset triple clamps, they greatly improve the cornering.

Looks really good so far!

I bought mine unridden and have about 20 hours on it now and just love it. Stock the handling is odd at best! Getting the suspension set up is essential although it's still not the best turning thing on the track. I just added a PC works pipe with stock silencer and really broadened the Power band with a bigger midrange hit!

All I can say is I get compliments on it all the time, the exhaust note is a thing of beauty.... Heck it's a KX of course it barks!

I've been trying to get my 07' more comfy in the turns. Revalves and tube height adjustments didn't help much. What do you guys suggest, offset triple clamps or a linkage?

I've been a lot happier with my gold valves and .48 fork and 5.8 rear spring.... It's a little stiff but it helps keep it up in the stroke better and not harsh. I just revalved my fork and shock for the second time and went stiffer on the valving again even though I didn't have a bottoming issue and that helped with the turning and I keep my fork tubes flush with the top clamp. I finally gave in and ordered a PC linkage and will let you know how it helps.... It supposed to arrive tomorrow. the link is supposed to be stiffer in the initial stroke to help with the geometry in the corners.

this bike is pretty hideous, backgrounds go all over the place, stock, have you been to lorretas? or do you just hae it on the backgrounds for looks? only thing right is the high three digit number for your class ( C class)

Nice build, clean. Enjoy riding the shit out of it with the red numbers. Without the red numbered folks this sport would die a quick death. Just as a general comment, many of us used to have "faster" number plates, but age has pushed us back a step. That doesn't mean however that we still can't enjoy what we grew up doing.
