never heard of them. are they imports?
Keith at KSR built mine. TCR hubs and SM Pro platinum rims. And they are unreal. check them out.

I've had pro wheel complete sets and DID/Talon and the DID/Talon definitely seem better quality and have held up a little better. I don't know what Pro Wheels cost anymore but I would go through Dubya unless it's over a few hundred $ difference.

Noo. Fast friend of mine tacod 3 front pro wheels will never buy them . Only wheels I've ever seen bent so bad on a MX bike. He did this off road even so u know they won't hold up to big jumps. Warp 9 makes a tough wheel set but they are heavy.

I took 9 yrs off and when I came back I built a set of wheels for my 07 RM250 and I used Excel spokes and turned down stock hubs and yellow Pro Wheel rims. They came out mint and looked amazing. I went to Florida with them only 3 wks old and I over jumped a fairly good sized triple on the first day and the front rim had a nice 5-6" flat spot and it cracked all the though at the point of impact. The rims are shit and please don't waste money. I could send you a pic of them. They're hanging on my garage wall. They still look brand new except for the mangled front rim. Type in Pro Wheel in a Google search and you'll find plenty of stories just like mine.

I have had two sets of Pro Wheel rims (just the rims, not complete wheels) and never ran into problems except for a slight flat spot in the weld area of one front rim that couldn't be corrected with trueing.

I have heard many horror stories about them though. If I were to buy economy-priced wheels, I'd go with Warp9 or Tusk. I have used them both in the past with good results.

I just bought a Warp9 front after the stock front rim on my YZ450 got a flat in it at my last race...I did it blind, so I'm glad to hear Warp9 rims are good stuff. And I almost bought the Pro rims...now I'm glad I didn't.

Ive laced up 2 sets of pro wheels and they have a terrible flat spot where they seem em together, I am using them on an 85 so I haven't had bad luck as far as bending but the quality is not as good as an excel IMO

No, SM Pro Platinum wheels are awesome and they are from the UK. I have no idea where Pro Wheels are from. I have Sm Pro Platinum wheels on my 250SX and I've beat the shit out them for a whole season and they still look like brand new. They are 2 totally different wheels from different companies. Call Keith at KSR wheels, he'll give you the best prices on almost wheel combo that you want. I've bought 3 sets of Sm Pro's from him for 2 other guys as well and they've love them and had zero issues with them.

Hey Joe,

I bought a set off hoops for my 250F and haven't had any complaints. Had em for about 2 years now. I would rate them about same quality as a stock Honda rim (so not amazing, but not horrible)

I've beaten the hell out of a set of D.I.D. Dirt-Stars that the guys at RAD laced up on their standard Signature hubs with their S/S spokes. These rims have been thru an unbelivable thrashing...for the enitre 2013 Baja/SCORE season.

I'm still running'em.

They built us a set opf D.I.D. LTX rims on their Eagle (light-weight) hubs for last year's X-Games...remember the track with the HUGE ramp?

We're still runnin'em. Oh, and, Todd got a Silver medal with'em, too!

I met the RAD Mfg mgr at the Indy trade-show & realized that their stuff was Made in the U.S.A.

I blew out a rear right down the middle around the spokes in a whoop crash. Probably the cause.

If you want wheels already made, look up RAD Manufacturing. You can get anything you want. And the prices are very reasonable. Best wheels I ever bought. Check it out.

I used to live right down the street from Pro Wheel and had lots of buddies who were sponsored by them and had lots of buddies who wouldn't even run them for free...they are junk from what I know.

Lots of better options out there.

No. For the few bucks you save over better rims, they are not worth the hassle of unlacing and relacing when they crack.

absolute junk. Mine cracked at the welded seam very quickly. Just buy a DID or Excel Rim

Look familiar? This happened on my first day of a 12 day trip to Florida. The wheels/rims were maybe 4-5 rides old. I had to have my wife overnight my spare front wheel from Mass to Florida I could ride. Pro Wheel rims are cheap shit.

warp 9's are terrible, i followed the instructions, ride, tighten, ride, tighten until the spokes set. did that for about a year and they never set, i never tacod them but they had some wicked flat spots and would never stop wobbling.

Excel A60's with RAD hubs are the bees knees, one ride and they set perfectly true.

Sm pro are a piece of crap and so is their customer support. They tell you to go to court with them on the very first email reply they send you. I had to true both the front and back wheel twice(!) within 800km and I only do amateur enduro. Mismatched colors, etc. This will be your worst purchase for your bike. If you looking for a problem - this wheel is for you

Just a thought but can't you have someone make you a set of spacers? I have Rad hubs to and I wanted to get parts for my wheels but Rad mfg never got back to me, I was to late. Someone should be able to machine them for you.

I thought about it but I don't have any to measure or go off of to tell them how to make them and I was told they are one off spacers cause the wheel bearing size
