Best race of the season I think. Watching James absolutely shred the field like that was so cool to see. It's been years since I've seen him ride that well. Reminded me of Budds Creek 2003 out there.

Great ride by James! I hope Dungey took notes.
He wasn't in sight long enough to learn anything.

about the sideline reports. quit asking "whats it gonna take" or "whats your plan" they say the same thing over and over. ask about tires, settings, travel, gear anything. did you think of trying bubba's lines when he went by? etc...other than that she does very well. also i really like the dunge but quit saying a better start. you were there tonight.
time to go have raining yellow dreams..........Sideways

The TV coverage missed a lot of the fun tonight. I couldn't watch the live show so I followed the race on Live Timing. I could tell from the second lap that James was hauling. Knowing the separation and the riders in front of him, I figured he might get to Dungey and then the two of them would swap positions for ten laps or so and finish 4rd and 5th. But Stewart kept coming. He couldn't quite get to Dungey before Dungey got by Brayton, and I wondered if James would lose the tail . So then it looked like Dungey could get some separation and Stewart would have to burn some laps getting back to him (remember I am guessing all of this from Live Timing). So Stewart gets around Brayton , immediately got on Dungey and went right by. That changed everything. Clearly he was going to have a shot -

So I turned on the DVR a minute ago. I was losing my mind over Jame's ride way before the TV coverage ever figured out he was frickin smokin! The TV guys finally caught on about lap 10. Man the ride from lap 2 to lap 10 must have been a thing of beauty.

Good ride Maximum Destruction. Grave digger was a little sick tonight but salvaged a 6th. Maximum Destruction brought out an old truck and absolutely killed it with a come from last to win ahead of El Toro and consistent Air Force One in the full size exhibition show.

In the mini-truck exhibition show. Mircro digger saw his ball joints come off his human front suspension, trying to get it fixed mid "show" but to no avail. Hence tightening up the points chase for the Jersey and Vegas round which we here about every commercial. Now Micro green digger and maximum destruction and old trusty micro el toro-cabra are in a much closer points race which will sure to sell more tickets to the oft ill-informed and not so core members of the sport, which are sitting in their recliners waiting for the actual "racing" season to start.

Seems the "show" is really starting to get popular these days with the minimal toothed rednecks. There are clearly more home made signs around the stadium, blocking the views of all the people who paid astronomical prices for seats. Nothing like a 40 yr old man screaming go Max D, uh, uh I mean go Villopoto standing up so his mama, with even less teeth, can see him on the television holding his 30x40 poster he spent all week making and not to much all the beer that must of been consuming making it.

SX as it was first intended has clearly DIED, now we are left with a recent billionaire hold motorscycles events with payouts lower than minimum wage at Burger King, with the factory riders obviously being used like puppets to ensure ticket sales from a group of people that 90% have never been to an "ACTUAL" MX race.

Last nights race, the penalty on Anderson to close that battle up and the constant Met Life and Vegas race commercials has given new meaning to the old signage...............................LET BROCK BYE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Has MX started yet.
