How do they pick riders for heat races. Not bagging on AC but he had easy pickings compared to heat 2. Hope he manages the race tonight and doesn't throw it away. I really like the kid.

they take even / odd to either heat based on times.

I think it alternates the fastest qualifiers in order. 1,3,5,7 etc go to 1 heat, 2,4,6,8 etc go to the other.

Lap times in practice. Odd and even qualifying positions if I'm not mistaken...

RV's biggest hurdle will be getting a feel for that long rhythm section with no practice. He has probably watched a lot of video of it but needs to go through it for real now.
