The crash video was all over the 'net and had absolutely nothing to do with the company who manufactured his bike. It did, however, have to do with his boot hooking the bike exactly like Reed's did in Dallas, 2012.

Bobby Hewitt (Rockstart KTM President and Team Owner) said in an interview that when the Zuk deal was up he let Davi, Jason, and Joey ride several bikes and let them chose what they wanted to ride. If it were up to him he would have chose Yamaha as it was the most lucrative financially but the rider chose KTM. Can't imagine Davi walking away from a ride he had a choice in picking.

I can't see Peick going to Honda. I'm not saying it can't happen I mean the kid has raced every brand under the sun. I could see him with JGR or RCH.

I could see Barcia with RCH. He seems to mesh with that kind of rough around the edges bad boy look Hart likes over there. With RC involved now that may be changing and he may try to give it a cleaner image.

I imagine Weimer, Grant, and Hill have all kind of run their course. Between injuries and mediocre and inconsistent results I don't think they'll stay with any big teams. Maybe they fall somewhere like Rock River, Cycle Trader, BTO, etc.

Hmmmm? I had some different reports about Davi. From what I had heard was that it took him a few rides on the KTM to start to feel comfortable on it and they were making good progress. And that he was actually really starting to like the bike a lot after some of the testing he had done.

Don't forget Davi is also well known to be a "Great " test rider. He can pretty much set up anything. There were certain races on that Yamaha he had that bike pretty dang dialed. I think the KTM has an even better platform compared to what the Yamaha had a couple years ago.

Davi also mentioned that " He's sticking with KTM "....and this was said shortly after getting off that Suzuki. BUT.....I gotta say , that Suzuki looked awesome underneath him!
I think maybe that's the same stuff I read here and in RacerX, and took it to believe he really didn't like the bike but was talking "media code" to make the sponsor feel good instead of coming right out and speaking the whole truth (not like anybody would do that!).

I believe when he first stepped onto the KTM he was considered a free agent at the time. They gave him an "Opt out " on his contract with the Rockstar team. They didn't force him to ride the KTM , and Davi wanted to at least test the bike before he made his decision. I think after a little bit of testing and him starting to feel more comfortable......he then re-signed. I think what the Rockstar team did was cool.....as in they let him test things before forcing him to sign anything. I'm sure there goal was to make him feel happy and comfortable on that bike and not force the issue. AND.....on top of that , KTM is giving factory support , where Suzuki couldn't ( at least not to the same level ).......and that can make a huge difference.

KTM will keep their current crop of riders why would they want anyone else or want to lose them? They are a very solid team and very well managed.
Although a fan favorite I doubt Peick gets any kind of a real ride. Fast but just not what teams want.

Was there an RCH "Before" RC got involved. I thought the team was started with both Hart and RC at the same time.

The word is RETARD. My apology. It's not reading comprehension, but proper spelling that we obviously need some time invested in.
Ratards is said in reference to the movie "The Hangover", in which Zach Gallfawhetever pronounces it "ra-tard". And stop failing while playing the grammar police, douche.

so you created this "media code", then subsequently misinterpreted it, at which point it somehow became psuedo-fact.

Anybody that "isn't comfortable" on a KTM and don't think it's a winning bike is looking for a excuse NOT to win. Doesn't seem to be slowing Dungey and Roczen down much.

I don't think anyone on the professional level is uncomfortable on the bike. I think that is just more internet speculation by the same people who think that "KTMs are hard to get parts for" and "KTMs are too expensive".

Newsflash, they aren't white and purple anymore, either. Hahaha

Matthes should wait until Tedesco's fill-in days with KTM are finished, get him on the show, and actually ask him the straight shit on the orange bikes.

................ And if Tedesco were to go on Matthes and say anything but how great the bikes were, he could potentially be screwing himself out of another potential fill-in (et all) ride.

No, not at all. Just admitting that I might have misinterpreted what was said. If you're trying to insult me or get into an arguement, your failing.

Try again, noob.

21 riders on that list. If the major teams stick with the same # of 450 riders here are the spots available.

Honda/Muscle Milk - 2 spots

JGR/Toyota/Yamaha - 2 spots

RCH/Soaring Eagle/Suzuki - 2 spots

Monster Energy/Kawasaki - 1 spot

Red Bull/KTM - 1 spot

Rockstar/KTM - 1 spot

BTO/KTM - 2 spots

On top of that there is talk that team 22 Motorsport/Discount Tire/Kawasaki will most likely be adding a second 450 rider. As well as Yosh./Suzuki adding a second 450 rider. Even if you add those two spots to the list that's only 13 positions available. That means that 8 guys on this list will be without a major ride for 2015. Of coarse some teams could choose to add a third 450 rider but with todays team budgets I don't think that happens. Rockstar/KTM could add a second 450 rider. And there is always a chance a new team is launched with a decent budget and factory support. There is talk Husky may have a factory supported team in the states in 2015. I just hope the lack of available positions doesn't cause a few of these guys to hang up their boots and call it a career.
