I am very happy for James as he has been on a low streak for a while! He had it coming, congrats and keep them coming!

Awesome and very solid ride! Aggressive from the beginning getting around Poto, and held it together for 20 laps with pressure all the way!
I'm pumped!

Anyone taking bets on how long before the nut huggers come in and say RV let James win because he's focused on the championship? Great ride for JS, RV, and Kenny. Major respect for KRoc checking on Reed. We need to see more of that. Hope CR22 is ok, he was going for it that last lap. Bummer for sure.

Way to go Stewart brothers, very happy for you guys, damn Stewy looked like he got squirrelly a couple times on the dragon back. Pumped to see him take one and put RV in his place. Awesome ride!

Yea, the only problem with that is that ole seven can do that every week. K-roc is a cool kid mad respect for him. I do think Reed could have gapped Dungey if K-roc wasn't there though.

I was rooting for him. He spooked me a few times on the Dragon's back. Great night for the Stewart family.

Yeah, he was flicking from one side to the other to set the next turn...
I think the announcer peed his pants too...HA!

Yep... If you go back and objectively watch 2011-2012 races...then watch the races since he got on the Zook...he is a much more consistent rider. He was a train wreck on the YZ....

Or maybe like 2012, he didn't want to risk Stewart crashing into him so he stayed behind him.

It's nerve wracking the whole race watching them both(7 and 1) until the checkers actually fall. James was perfect tonight, great win for him and his crew.

You are right about the style. Something about the way he rides so far out over the front...it just looks so good.

What has really impressed me this year (mainly at A1, Oak and SD) is his form and speed in the bowl corners. I said it once before...and was laughed at...but I actually think he is as good, or even better than RV in those corners now. Of course...a lot of it may be set ups on those nights. He does that high low turndown..which shortens the track, but he manages to hold the same exist speed...and he gains a bit...he does it again...gains a bit...then he has the pass.

He also turned his fast lap on lap 16. Brayton turned his on lap 12. Pretty much everyone else posted their fast laps between laps 4 and 8.... His fitness is as good as anyone's right now...even without the almighty Aldon training him...
